Cultivating Warriors
The Lord says,
My fierce warriors may not look like fierce warriors. To you they look like moms and dads, men and women, boys and girls going about their business. They carry extra hope. They carry love overflowing. They carry great conviction and a deep connection with Me. But they are about their Father’s business. They are tending to the work I have given into their hands. These great warriors — these brave, bold, whole-hearted ones — carry great authority in the Spirit. They know that with God all things are possible, and they will not allow evil to meddle in their garden. They strike at evil with decisiveness, authority and with the Power of the Holy Spirit who lives within them. These are My fierce warriors. They are flying below the radar. They are going about their Father’s business. They are unassuming and require no fanfare. These I Am strengthening and growing in the secret place. These I Am infusing with a greater measure of confidence, a greater measure of fierceness when it comes to all things that are pure, right, true and bring life. I Am giving them fresh downloads of strategies — showing them how to operate and how to live in total trust that with Me all things are possible.
The works of their hands will bless many, will serve many. And I will bless it in a greater measure than ever expected. This is a season of great blessing on the works of the hands of My faithful warriors. I Am bringing a magnification and a multiplication of blessings to these faithful ones who have anchored themselves firmly in Me and have been about their Father’s business, tending, working and beating back the efforts of the enemy to invade these good works.
Your hard work and your steadfast attitude is beautiful in My sight. It does not go unseen. This hard work is like a beautiful fragrance that rises up as a sacrificial offering to Me, because you have not just gone through the motions. You have dug in. You have worked with heart. You have learned things and pressed in to get to a next level of understanding. You have chosen the good way. You have worked with integrity, with heart from a place of purity. It is My good pleasure and My will to bless the labor of your hands that you have done sacrificially, above and beyond, when you could have been distracted and distraught over the world around you, when you could have dialed it in and just gotten by, when you could have said no but you said yes. Watch My oil of blessing pour out into your hands and flow over into your lap.
Instruction for the Warriors
The Lord says,
Continue to be vigilant. Do not tolerate the works of the enemy that try to distract or invade your efforts. Speak with authority and remove them from the scene. Do not tolerate any of the works of the enemy in the places that you have authority. No gossip. No back biting. No pettiness, rudeness or the like. You release peace. You demand a disciplined attitude of grace, love, kindness, patience. Cultivate the fruits of the spirit in your own life, and watch those around you grow in their desire for these too.
This is a time of positive peer pressure, of leading by example, of exerting your influence and authority for good, of cultivating an atmosphere of holiness, of raising the bar and the expectations of those under your authority – at home and in the workplace.
This is the time to rise up as mothers and fathers — to your children, your employees, and to people in your circle of influence who need parental figures in their life. This is the time of warriors rising and cultivating, teaching and disciplining those under their authority to work in excellence, walk in grace, and behave with godly discipline. I Am calling My warriors to raise up warriors. I have no place for weak powerless Christianity. I have birthed to new life warriors. This is how we fight. We fight by making more warriors and forcing the enemy out of every aspect of our lives. Give him no entry. Train up those in your care to be fierce warriors operating in the authority I have given them and through the power of My Spirit within them.
Do it all with joy. Do it all with a song in your heart. This is beautiful work, and it should be fun. Warriors in Me can war and have fun, because what do they have to fear? Absolutely nothing. I have the final word, and I Am victorious. You can indeed sing and whistle and play and laugh while you work when You are in Me.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord. Meditate on His goodness and faithfulness to you.
- Ask Him to show you any areas of your life where the enemy is meddling. Wherever that is, speak to it and forcibly remove it from there. (Example: I bind the eyes, ears, mouth and hands of the enemy in ________ place. I bind and break off all assignments, strategies and attacks of the enemy in _________ against me and my family, my office. I demolish them and put them at the feet of Jesus to be judged.)
- Where you see that the enemy is at work in those under your authority, instill a new level of discipline that does not allow those activities in your space. (New no gossip rule, code of conduct, expected way to treat customers, etc.) You set the boundaries in the places where you have authority. Make them clear. Do it with grace and authority in the spirit of kindness. Ask the Lord how to do it.
- Set clear expectations for those under your authority. Teach them the right way to do things, so that they operate in integrity and excellence.
- Ask Him where you can bring fun, laughter and lightheartedness to your home and your work.
