Jesus wants you to know that He is a lover, that He is creative, and exciting, and full of adventure and love. He wants you to know that He loves having fun, that He’s in a good mood. He wants you to know that His mercy and grace extend as far as the east is from the west and that His forgiveness is unmatched and life changing. He wants you know that walking side by side with Him, and knowing Him intimately as a friend will be the greatest adventure and best choice of your life. Life with Jesus is one you can live with no lasting regrets. You can live fully under the grace of His goodness and with the knowledge that He actually does work all things together for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

He wants you to know that He can wipe away the stings of the past and reveal to you purpose — even in tragedy that He had no hand in causing. He is the great transformer of lives. He wipes slates clean. He will forgive you of all sins and unrighteousness, and He gives brand new hearts and renews minds.

Choosing Jesus will be the biggest, most life changing decision you ever make, and the transformation will have a domino effect in all aspects of your life. It will touch those around you – for good, with hope, with joy, with purpose. In Jesus, you can trust and live with abandon. His callings are high and they cause the seeds of life that He has planted in your heart – in the shape of tiny dreams – to take form and blossom and become greater than you could have ever imagined. This is a taste of life in Jesus. You will never regret it.

Here’s How to Choose Jesus:

  • Acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God who came to Earth in human form. He was born of a virgin, as the perfect substitutionary sacrifice for your sins. He has power over death and the grave and was resurrected to bring you the gift of eternal life.
  • Ask Jesus for forgiveness for your sins.
  • Thank Him for the sacrifice He made on your behalf that made eternal life possible for you.
  • Invite Him into your life as Lord and as your Savior.
  • Celebrate, because you have just changed the course of your life and your story.

Great Next Steps:

  • If you know someone who is a Christ follower, tell them about your decision. You can email me and let me know!
  • Ask them to help you find a way to get baptized. This is an act of obedience that memorializes your decision to follow Jesus.
  • Start reading the Bible. Beginning in the Gospels to learn about the life of Jesus is a great way to start – those are Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. You can download it as an app if you don’t have a copy.
  • Ask the Lord to send you someone to help teach you about Him, and proactively look for a church where you feel the presence of the Lord and can learn about Jesus.
