Today's Readings: Psalm 92-93 Isaiah 62 Colossians 3
It’s so enjoyable to come before you
Psalm 92:1-3
with uncontainable praises spilling from our hearts!
How we love to sing our praises over and over to you,
to the matchless God, high and exalted over all!
2 At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you
for your kindness and your love.
As the sun sets and all through the night,
we will keep proclaiming, “You are so faithful!”
3 Melodies of praise will fill the air as every musical instrument,
joined with every heart, overflows with worship.
Worship is a Lifestyle and a Weapon
The Lord says,
Put your hope in Jesus. Lock your eyes on Jesus. Set your heart on Him. Set your face like flint in the direction of Jesus. Do not be moved. Do not be moved.
Robe yourself in righteousness. Choose your garments with care. Put on the garments of praise, and lift your eyes to Me and sing. Let worship be the sound that fills the air. Cause worship to rise in your heart and your home. Magnify My Name. Lift a song of praise. Let worship ever be on your lips. This is the mark of a steadfast, faithful, faith-filled and beautiful people. Worshipping and having a heart filled with worship will keep you from being distracted by the storm. It will keep your feet from stumbling and your mouth from speaking wrong. A lifestyle of continual worship is one anointed with grace. It acts as a great repellent of the enemy, and it causes Me to draw near. Can you see why worship is so important? Open your mouth, let sounds of praise continually come from your lips and from your heart. This sets your mind on Me and not your circumstances. This is coming up higher. This is rising above. This is the strategy of My warrior lovers – just as it was with My original warrior lover David.
Worship and praise, songs of hope and adoration will train your mind and will calm the storm within you. Peace is found in worship. Grace is found in worship. Great creative downloads, purpose-filled revelations and new insights into My character all come in worship. This is not time wasted. This is not an extravagant use of your time. This is a worthy and productive use of your time. Though it may appear extravagant, it is appropriate.
17 Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!
Colossians 3:17
Sing a new song. Let Holy Spirit wash over you and give you a spontaneous song of love and praise. Sing a simple song, one from the heart. I Am after your heart. Be one who is only conquered by Me, by My love for you, and your love for Me. This is a lifestyle, and it will become a more common one. My laid down lovers are growing in number, and they are getting into the stream of My strategy for life, for hope, for revelation. As you wade into this stream and give yourself over to your love for Me, the stream will become a river that is flowing out of you. It will be powerful, great and it will bring change — healing, joy, light and the contagion of worship.
The Lord is Building Our Future
The Lord says,
I Am building something new. It looks elementary. Like legos, it looks juvenile, but the pieces fit perfectly together. My plans are perfect and they fit perfectly together. What I Am building, I Am building in plain sight, in the midst of all. It is going unnoticed by the enemy because it looks elementary. But it will be equipped with a strong catapult that will unceremoniously remove those on the side of the enemy from the scene. Once they are removed, they will have no ability to return to the public square. They will indeed be banished outside of the gates of this new society, of this new city I Am building in the midst of you.
11 See? Yahweh has proclaimed to the ends of the earth:
Isaiah 62:11-12
Tell my daughter, Zion,
“Look, here comes your Deliverer!
See? He’s bringing his reward,
and his recompense goes before him.”
12 They will be called His Holy People,
The Redeemed of Yahweh.
And you will be known as Those Whom God Loves,
A City Not Abandoned.
It is My joy to confound the wise with simple plans that are magnificent and perfect. This is what I Am doing. You will see the great beauty, effectiveness and perfection — the great elegance in the simplicity of My plan.
My simple plan is being established in the midst of all this chaos and confusion. My plan is advancing and has already been established. The building is well underway. When the final pieces are put into place, they (those with the enemy) will be surrounded. And they will be ejected. It is that simple. It’s that simple.
How to Respond
- Worship. Cultivate a lifestyle of worship. Keep songs of worship constantly playing in your heart and in your mind. Sing as often as you can.
- Cultivate an atmosphere of worship in your home.
- Declare that the Lord is moving with great purpose, and He is strengthening you to resist the enemy and to use your voice.
- Declare that the Lord’s perfect plan is advancing, and He will remove those on the side of the enemy from the scene.
