Psalm 100-101
1 Corinthians 6
John 14:15-31

19 Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. 20 You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Be Holy

The Lord says,
Be holy, therefore as I Am holy. Purify yourself. Stand up tall. Be a people of clean heart, clean lips and clean hands. Sanctify yourself. Continue refining your heart, your mind. Keep securing your boundaries — what you allow into your mind, your eyes, your heart, your ears. Be very disciplined. Run a tight ship about what you allow entry into yourself. I Am calling you to a lifestyle of ever increasing holiness. Sanctification is the process of shedding — continual shedding of all that does not serve you, serve your family, serve the Kingdom, and serve the work that I have called you to. Keep pulling off and putting away all those things that do not advance your heart and your life toward Me, all those things that steal time with no return on investment, all those things that cause your mind to be polluted with filth, stress, anxiety or despair. Be holy, as I Am holy.

15 “Loving me empowers you to obey my commands. 16–17 And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you.

John 14:15-17

Carry purity and the weight of My Presence in your heart. Seek My continual guidance and wisdom as you go through your days. Watch as you are moving and operating in increasing wisdom, because of your communion with Me, because you have been seeking Me, because you can hear Me clearly as you have been putting off and shedding those old habits and mindsets that do not have Kingdom value. As you put these old things off, you become sharper — your hearing and perceiving My voice and My move becomes sharper. You become stronger in Me, firmer in your convictions. The wavering between opinions and choices is no more. You become as a solid pillar, immovable, with eyes for only Me. This is the state in which you are most trustworthy, most grounded, planted and secure. When you are secure and firmly planted, anchored in Me, others can easily put their trust in you. They see that you are who you say you are. And that you do what you say you will do. Your character is clear and unchanging.

3 I refuse to gaze on that which is vulgar.
I despise works of evil people
and anything that moves my heart away from you.
I will not let evil hold me in its grip.
4 Every perverse and crooked way I have put away from my heart,
for I will have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness.

Psalm 101:3-4

Do it with all joy. Seek Me with all joy. This is not an exercise or a lifestyle that is a drag. It is the lifestyle of a lover, who continually puts away everything that comes between us. It is the choice made in love, to purse deeper intimacy, deeper connection, greater wisdom, discernment, understanding and revelation of Who I Am, and what I Am doing on the Earth. These are the purposeful decisions of lovers to come closer. In order to come closer, you must remove all that stands between us. That’s the process of sanctification. It’s like gardening. In order for the beautiful and the fruitful things to grow well, you must get rid of that which is stealing nutrients, hogging the light and choking out the good plants. Sanctification is tending the garden of your life and ripping out the weeds that are causing you to be less fruitful than your potential.

1 Lift up a great shout of joy to Yahweh!
Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere!
2 Worship Yahweh with gladness.
Sing your way into his presence with joy!
3 And realize what this really means—
we have the privilege of worshiping Yahweh our God.
For he is our Creator and we belong to him.
We are the people of his pleasure.

Psalm 100:1-3

Have fun with it. Pursue new ways to find joy in life. Find pure ways to be in joy, to find delight, to laugh, to live and explore creation. The fun you have in purity has no sorrow added to it — no regret, no shame, no twinge of guilt. That’s what purity in the Lord gives you. It gives what the world cannot. I give what the world cannot.

27 “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!

John 14:27

You Can Operate in Extreme Peace

The Lord says,
My lovers will find that they can operate in extreme peace regardless of circumstances. Regardless of the shaking, regardless of the tumult, My lovers who are firmly and securely anchored in Me can live in great peace.

So live in peace. Drop your anchors in Me. Pursue My presence and My truth. Live in the light and be a great reflection of My light to the world around you. The world will soon be shaken, so get your house and your life in order. Prepare yourself to be who I Am calling you to be. Don’t put off purification and sanctification. Don’t put off the refining and grounding of your character in Me. I’m asking you to prepare yourself, so you will not be moved in the shaking and so those who must endure the shaking have someone they can hold onto. Be holy, therefore as I Am holy.

Urgency is here, and time is running short to prepare yourself. Make quick choices and be ruthless in ridding yourself of all that is not serving you in this hour.

This is not a word to stir up anxiety or stress. Return to your peace in Me, but be clear about sifting out and getting rid of all that is not serving you. I love you. It’s time to get to work. It’s time to ready yourself. It’s time to armor up. The shaking is near.

How to Respond

  • Sit with the Lord and offer up your life as an open book before Him. Ask Him to point to the things in your life that are not adding value, that are taking your time, that are causing anxiety or polluting your mind.
  • Be ruthless in weeding out all that He points to. Clear these things out and don’t let them back in.
  • Declare that the Lord has perfect peace and many delights for His lovers – that they can experience with no regret, shame or guilt.
  • Ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to prepare yourself and your family for the days ahead.
  • Rejoice and live in great thanksgiving, because the Lord has equipped you to stand and not be moved by the shaking that He is bringing.
