Today’s Readings:
2 Corinthians 13
Psalm 27
Isaiah 44

14 Here’s what I’ve learned through it all:
Don’t give up; don’t be impatient;
be entwined as one with the Lord.
Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope.
Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!

Psalm 27:14

The Lord says,
Fear not, I am with you. Peace be still — no matter what comes, no matter what goes. I Am with you. I Am here comforting you. I Am your place of respite and refuge. I Am a strong tower. I Am strong and mighty. No foe can come against Me and win. No enemy nor power can prevail against Me. I Am the Eternal Ruler of the Universe, Creator God and Most High King. Whom or what shall you fear? Fear not, for I am with you. Fret not, because it does no good. Get into the slipstream of My grace. Nestle into the comfort of My rest. I Am with you, and I Am for you. Nothing can stand against Me.

14 Now, may the grace and joyous favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, the unambiguous love of God, and the precious communion that we share in the Holy Spirit be yours continually. Amen!

2 Corinthians 13:14

My grace is sufficient. My peace passes all understanding. Let not your heart be troubled. Position yourself so securely and firmly in Me that you can say without hesitation or doubt that it is well with your soul.

11 Finally, beloved friends, be cheerful! Repair whatever is broken among you, as your hearts are being knit together in perfect unity. Live continually in peace, and God, the source of love and peace, will mingle with you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

My peace conquers the darkness. Fear cannot stand in the light of My perfect love. Rise up beside Me as the warrior you are. Rise up, strengthened by My perfect love, comforted and buttressed by My perfect peace, and certain that My will and instruction will lead you directly to the right place.

Let your mouth sing that it is well with your soul. Let your body absorb My perfect peace. Let your mind be locked in on My promises, My words, My precepts, and follow Me into this season. Though it remains unknown and not visible to you, I know it perfectly. So trust, rest, strengthen yourself in Me. Carry yourself as a warrior, and let’s walk on. Let’s move forward. Let it be well with your soul, for the outcome will be very good.

1-2“Now, listen to me, my servant Jacob, Israel, my chosen one.
I am Yahweh, your Creator, who shaped you in my womb.
Hear what I have to say to you:
‘Don’t fear. I will help you, O Jacob my servant,
Do not fear, my pleasing one, Israel.

Isaiah 44:1-2

Trust in Me. Walk beside Me. Stay in unbroken communion with Me. Put all of your hope in Me. Find the wellspring of life and joy everlasting in Me. I Am the Source, the Author and the Way. Whom or what shall you fear? Let it be well with your soul. And walk on with Me as a soldier.

How to Respond

  • Build a fortress of steel for your heart and mind to protect yourself from the attacks of doubt and fear that the enemy brings. Do this by reading the promises of scripture out loud. Declare the promises of the Lord out loud.
  • Sing and worship out loud.
  • Resist and rebuke the enemy by combatting the lies he tells you with the truths of scripture, and he will flee from you.
  • Ask the Lord what other steps you can take to anchor your life and your trust firmly in Him.
  • Ask the Lord for His help to walk beside Him though you may not see where He is leading you.
  • Declare that you are with the Lord and He is always victorious.
