Today’s Readings:
Romans 12
Psalm 103
Isaiah 56

13 The same way a loving father feels toward his children—
that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us,
your beloved children, who live in awe of you.

Psalm 103:13

The Lord says,
I’m coming home — home to your house, to your heart, to your life. Because I Am declaring and have made a new year, a new day and a new life for you, so am I coming to reside in it. I Am coming to dwell with you and on the Earth in power and in a more substantial way than I ever have before. My Presence will be known. My Presence will be felt, and acknowledged, recognized and desired by all; and I will dwell among you. I dwell in you already, and the awareness of that will heighten.

20 So bless the Lord, all his messengers of power,
for you are his mighty heroes who listen intently
to the voice of his word to do it.
21 Bless and praise the Lord, you mighty warriors,
ministers who serve him well and fulfill his desires.

Psalm 103:20-21

Your awareness of My Presence inside of you will cause you to live a nobler, gentler, more powerful, more honorable life. My Presence around you, permeating your life and business will cause excellence and favor, mercy and great grace to be marks of your life. It will cause you to be a beacon — your life, your business, your home. People will come to you, drawn by My light in you, surrounding you and emanating through the windows of your life and home. This is the harvest. Be ready to welcome in many visitors. Some will be bearing great gifts. Some will be empty handed and in great need. Some will impart knowledge that you need. Just remember, they have been drawn to you by Me. They are not here just for you. They are here to meet Me. This is the harvest.

11 Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let him fill you with excitement as you serve him.
12
Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times.
13
Take a constant interest in the needs of God’s beloved people and respond by helping them. And eagerly welcome people as guests into your home.

Romans 12:11-13

This is almost reverse evangelism, as your door will be knocked on by those who want to meet Me. This is the easiest fruit picking harvest the world has seen. I Am drawing those who need to meet Me as if there were a great big magnet in their heart. I Am drawing them to you this way. They are light seekers. They are truth seekers. They hunger and thirst for righteousness but know it not.

Prepare your heart. Prepare your mind. Prepare your home, because it will soon be overrun with unfamiliar faces that I have drawn to you. Listen to Me as they come, and I will instruct you in how to serve them. Treat them all with honor, dignity and love. I will empower you with a grace you have never known to serve, to love, to impart and to share the truth of the Gospel of Jesus.

6 And to the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh
to worship him, those who want to be his servants
and love the name of Yahweh—
all who honor the Sabbath and do not disregard it,
and who remain true to my covenant—I make this promise:
7 ‘I will welcome you into my holy mountain
and make you joyful in my house of prayer.
I will accept every sacrifice and offering
that you place on my altar,
for my house of worship will be known
as a house of prayer for all people.’”

Isaiah 56:6-8

They will begin popping up like sea creatures. You will say, “who are these strange ones that don’t look like me and are so unfamiliar?” But as you are obedient to serve, you will see that they are indeed creatures like yourself, made in My own image, desperately in need of love and truth. Don’t let appearances hang you up. Don’t let language and coarseness and extreme transparency trip you up. Hear Me when I say, those who arrive to your door have been drawn. Remember what I said about the one who gives My little ones a cup of cold water? These are them. Prepare for their arrival. Prepare to serve and to love. Prepare to give and to receive.

What you give in this time will be far greater than what you receive. What you receive will be blessings, keys, and help for the other assignments I have put in your hands.

In some ways, it will feel like a return to the days of old, where people stopped by unannounced and whether they were strangers or had relatives to recommend them, you invited them in, offered them sweet tea and heard their tale.

How to Respond

  • Let your guard down a little.
  • Be open to the leading of the Lord.
  • Prepare your heart and mind to to welcome and serve strangers that the Lord sends your way.
  • Be ready to share the truth about Jesus with them. That is what they came for.
  • Don’t refuse the gifts they bring. They come from the hand of the Lord to bless you.
