Ezekiel 37
Psalm 138
37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry. 3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’
Ezekiel 37:1-4
The Lord says,
You’re witnessing and have been witnessing the breakdown — the breakdown of the family, of communities, of society, of integrity, of leadership, of justice, of true governance by the people and for the people. It has been breaking down for some time now, and it all is starting to crumble before your very eyes. The beauty of the breakdown is that it gives me room to move. This self-sufficient, self-reliant attitude previous to the obvious breakdown didn’t give Me much room to move. But amidst the broken pieces and the debris of failure, I can move.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. 14 I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it,” declares the Lord.’”

I can cause these dry bones to reassemble. I can cause these impossibly, irretrievably broken pieces to be rejoined. I can put flesh back on what was decayed, dried and crumbled. I can restore oxygen to the places from which all of the life has been sucked out. I can breathe life into all of these dead, broken, desolate places, and I can cause them to live again. I can cause them to work properly again. I can cause them to thrive and be filled with the energy of My abundant goodness and love again. I can move in this place of breakdown. I can move in this place of barren wilderness, where all seems desolate and lifeless. I can move with resurrection power. I can move with restorative power. I can move to return things to first principles and righteous order. This is a place I can move.
21 Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms. 23 They will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people, and I will be their God.

Will you trust Me to pick up the pieces? Will you trust Me to discard the junk and the muck and the filth that has accumulated? Will you trust Me to breathe on the essentials that remain? Will you trust Me to put life back together again?
Just as there was in the valley of dry bones with Ezekiel, I will cause a shaking, and the shaking has already begun. The Earth has begun to respond to My intention and My aim, and the Earth will continue to intensify its response as My power moves onto the scene.
Think about the shaking in the valley of dry bones. The shaking is a sifting. The shaking is a stirring. The shaking is a jolting and an alerting. The shaking is a preparation and a time of refining. The shaking is an energy transfer from what was stagnant to that which requires new life. All of these things are happening in the shaking. I Am jolting some out of their slumber, some out of the haze, others out of listlessness and malaise. The energy of discontent will intensify in the shaking until it mobilizes a newly awakened, newly restored, newly aligned, fresh and radiant army.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
Psalm 138:7-8
You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
8 The Lord will accomplish what concerns me;
Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
The shaking awakens, restores, reconstitutes and revives a mighty army. The warriors are the ones revived, and they are the restored ones who weave back together the fabric of family, society, justice, and righteous order. These institutions rest on principles that remain long after the shaking. It’s the people, the mindsets, the habits that need to change. That’s what I Am doing in the shaking. So, there is beauty in the breakdown, and there is glory in the resurrection. I Am using it all. It is and it will be a breathtaking wonder to behold.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord. Choose to trust that He is doing and will do what He said He would do.
- Declare, the Lord is moving in power to revive, regenerate, and rebuild a people who will fiercely and fearlessly re-establish His righteous order, purity, integrity, truth and honor at all levels of society — beginning with the family.
- Prophesy, family unit, communities, society, justice, integrity, leadership, governing bodies — hear the word of the Lord. The Lord God says to you, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. I will restore you to your original design and breathe life into you, and you will know that I Am Lord.
- Prophesy, to the breath, The Lord God says, Come from the four winds, O breath and breathe on these broken pillars of life, broken character traits and broken institutions. Come from the four winds, O breath and breathe on these broken and crumbled that they come to life!
- Decree, I and my family serve the Lord God Eternal through His perfect Son, Christ Jesus.
- Decree, the Lord’s righteousness is being re-established in the Earth, and He is restoring an army of believers who will chase down the gates of hell to ensure the restoration and protection of these critical and beautiful institutions.
