Psalm 63
John 15
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5
The Lord says,
My heart is for You. My joy in in you. My desire is for your success and triumph in life and over circumstances. You can’t do it on your own well. It also won’t happen if you just step back and say, “Lord you do it.” This is a partnership. I’m calling you to come closer and co-create with Me. I’m asking you to draw nearer and sync up your heart with Mine.
63 O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly;
Psalm 63:1-3
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
Worship and pray without ceasing. Make your life a song and a beautiful offering to Me. Your worship causes Me to draw near and forces the enemy to flee. Your worship does a lot of heavy lifting in the spirit. Your prayer does too. Bring your thoughts, concerns curiosities. Bring your wonder, your discouragement, your hopes. Bring it all to me in an ongoing conversation that doesn’t cease. You’ll be amazed at what it does for your disposition and your perspective. You’ll be amazed at what you hear.
15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
John 15:15-16
Make your declarations. Contend out loud for the desires of your heart, the promises yet to see fulfillment and the changes you want to see in your life, your family and the world around you. Your voice and words have tremendous power. I have made it that way, and I have given you all authority on earth. Exercise that authority to draw reality, to draw change, to draw Kingdom gifts — down from Heaven to Earth. Use your voice to set up protections around your heart, your home, your family and community. Use your voice to put a stake in the ground and say I will not be moved from this place.
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15:7
Call for angel support. Speak what is not as though it is. Choose to stand firm in strength and confidence that I will deliver. This is what partnership looks like. This is how you contend for your miracle. Refuse to cede ground to despair or disbelief. Only give ground to hope, faith, love and fulfillment. This is the time of fulfillment. These are the days of breakthrough.
4 So I will bless You as long as I live;
Psalm 63:4-5
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.
I know you are weary, but strengthen yourself in Me. Trust Me. Share your burden with Me. And partner with Me to bring the breakthrough. You can have fun doing it. Allow discouragement and despair no foothold. Live from the overflow of joy, wisdom and grace that comes from being in constant contact, constant communion with Me. Live from that overflow. Live from that joy, and you can experience this contending as fun. You can experience the days as light and unburdened. Partner with Me. Don’t sit back and wait for Me to do it for you, and don’t try to do it all under the power of your own steam. Sync up with Me, and let’s do it together.
How to Respond
- Position yourself in the grace of the Lord. Repent of any unaddressed sin. Deal with any lingering hurts or unforgiveness.
- Begin to sing and talk to the Lord throughout your day. See the difference it makes.
- Ask the Lord for wisdom and clarity in specific declarations that will draw the change you desire.
- Declare, the Lord is with me and for me. He has given me power and authority over darkness. He has equipped me to partner with Him to live in blessing, abundance and great joy.
- Pray, Lord help me to see how to move into direct and constant partnership with You. Give me a song to sing, declarations to make and fill me with the joy of Your Spirit.
