Today’s Readings:
Psalm 104
Psalm 146-150
1 Let all that I am praise the Lord.
Psalm 104:1-4
O Lord my God, how great you are!
You are robed with honor and majesty.
2 You are dressed in a robe of light.
You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;
3 you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds.
You make the clouds your chariot;
you ride upon the wings of the wind.
4 The winds are your messengers;
flames of fire are your servants.
The Lord says,
Change is blowing in like a mighty East wind. Change is blowing in so powerfully and so suddenly that it will interrupt many plans. It will make it difficult to see because of the sheer force of the wind. Those who are in Me will experience great peace in the midst of these powerful winds of change. It will be like they are protected in a little pocket of stillness and peace, where the wind does not whip against their faces nor does it stir up anxiety and cause fear.
4 For the Lord delights in his people;
Psalm 149:4
he crowns the humble with victory.
The peace will differentiate those who are the target of change and those who are not. Those with Me will feel their hearts swell with excitement, expectation, joy and pride, because they will know that this change, these winds of change, will blow things wide open; and they will hit their mark. They will not fear or fret; but they will stand, watch and see as I perform My Word, as I conduct these powerful and relentless winds of change.
5 How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Psalm 146:5-9
Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth,
The sea and all that is in them;
Who keeps faith forever;
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed;
Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets the prisoners free.
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous;
9 The Lord protects the strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
The winds of change will cause great rippling and unsettling of the paths of those with darkness, wickedness and evil. It will upset their determined path, and it will cause them to stumble. Some will be caught in a vortex wind of change and will be immobilized, trapped and held captive by the change itself. For others, the wind of change will sneak up on them from behind and engulf them. Change is coming. Powerful, unstoppable, relentless change is coming.
5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength;
Psalm 147:6-7
His understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord supports the afflicted;
He brings down the wicked to the ground.
Many evil ones I Am freezing in their tracks and causing them to crumble in the eyes of the people, just as I did with Lot’s wife who looked back with longing on her life in the wicked place. So too will these ones be frozen in time, in history, as traitors to the nation, as ones who loved wickedness and despised God and the people. This will make many removals quite easy. They will be sitting ducks. These will be many big names that are known and many, many, many more unknowns who just are frozen there by My directed wind of change — standing as crumbling pillars of salt. Removal will be easy.
How to Respond
- Keep your heart and life pure before the Lord.
- Rejoice and live in ongoing worship of the God who rescues, delivers and protects His people from the enemy.
- Declare, the Lord is mighty to save, and He is blowing in and conducting a mighty wind of change that will stop the works of evil in their tracks and make those aligned with darkness unable to continue.
- Declare, the Lord is going to make it easy to remove these wicked ones from positions of influence and power.
