Isaiah 54-56
Psalm 105
4 “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame;
Isaiah 54:4
And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;
But you will forget the shame of your youth,
And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
The Lord says,
I will resurrect love in your life. I will resurrect all of the pieces that look dead and hopeless. I have been telling you, and you know in deep in your heart that it is true — I Am the God of the resurrection. I cause dead things to come back to vibrant, better than before, life. All that looks dead and gone and hopeless now will emerge in a moment, in a suddenly, in an unexpected instant, and life will change.
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
Isaiah 55:10-12
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it bear and sprout,
And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
12 “For you will go out with joy
And be led forth with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
You will be filled with wonder, delight and joy. You won’t get much warning, because like I said, this is a season of surprises, suddenlies and unexpected turnarounds. I Am telling you now that I will bring resurrection to every aspect of your life that feels dead and gone. You have been faithful in this dark season, in this wilderness season, in this very dry season, and I have every intention to reward that, to bless that and to bring fulfillment in ways that way exceed your expectations. Hold on to Me. Hold on to hope, and keep your eyes on the horizon. Something very wonderful is coming.
19 Until the time that his word came to pass,
Psalm 105:19
The word of the Lord tested him.
My Word will test you in the waiting. It has tested you, and it will test you until I bring completion. Allow My Word to do its work of rooting out doubt, fear, anxiety and unbelief. Cling to the Word and throw all of these mindsets, feelings and tormenting spirits that don’t belong with you out. Bind them up and throw them out.
10 “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
Isaiah 54:10
But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you,
And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,”
Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
I will do something in your day that you could not believe if it was told to you. Fill yourself with My joy. Fill yourself with expectation, with hope, with the belief that the best days are ahead. I Am loosening up established foundations. I am causing all that people stand on that is not truth, not righteousness and not Me to become wobbly and uncertain beneath their feet. I Am causing a great disorientation for those who so strongly believed they knew what true north was. I Am causing the people who are not leaning on Me, My Word, My truth to feel very unstable. They will grope around feverishly and in a panic for something solid to hold onto.
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Isaiah 55:6-9
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
The time has come that I Am causing a great unsettling, and those who are not leaning on Me, not anchored to Me will begin to question everything. They will be very unsettled, and then they will get caught in a great shaking. They will lose their footing, and they will be reaching, grasping, crying out for something solid to lay their hands on, something immovable to stand on; and as a result many will find Me. Some will prefer to remain in the agony of the shaking and uncertainty. But many, many, many will come to Me, the Firm Foundation, and will get new eyes and ears as they stand on this immovable place. They will leave those old unstable, darkness-inspired ways and mindsets and belief systems behind in the former place. They will not keep them here on Christ the Solid Rock. Here, they become one, even as We (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are One, and it will be a time of great relief, great refreshing, rescue and renewal for many.
8 The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,
Isaiah 56:8
“Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.”
These newly transformed ones, these rescued ones, these ones who grasped and groped until their hands found the truth, they will become some of the fiercest warriors for truth, for the Lord, that the world has ever seen. They will be fierce protectors of the people and especially the children. They will rise up valiantly and fearlessly, with a godly rage, storm the gates of hell that remain in the land; and they will conquer. These are ones who will volunteer to stand guard, who will raise their hand to be watchmen on the walls to protect the land against the forces of darkness, against all enemies.
6 “Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
Isaiah 56:6-7
To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord,
To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath
And holds fast My covenant;
7 Even those I will bring to My holy mountain
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar;
For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
They will bring a true warrior spirit and a new level of fierceness to the body of believers. They won’t tolerate waffling and weak presentations of the gospel. They desire and will only stand for the full gospel, the pure and simple gospel of Christ. They will only stand for the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The weak leaders and the half-hearted leaders of the church will be left standing alone. I will resurrect love in the hearts of many, true love, as I roll out this uncertainty, then this instability and then the shaking. Love will be resurrected in many stony hearts when they touch the truth of Christ and Him resurrected.
How to Respond
- Stir up joy, hope, trust and the expectation that the Lord will come through for you.
- Declare, the Lord has promised to resurrect the dead dreams and dead areas of my life, and He never lies. I am standing on His promise to bring fulfillment, and I will not be moved.
- Rejoice in the Lord and in the promise of a great revival that America and the world so desperately needs.
- Declare, the Lord is causing the belief systems, mindsets and worldviews of ALL who are not anchored in Him to become unsteady. He is causing them to become very uncomfortable, and He will shake their very foundations. The Lord’s shaking will drive many, many, many to the truth, to Jesus, and they will find the unshakable truth, new life and new perspective in Him.
- Pray, Lord, do exactly as You have said. We stand in agreement with You — in expectation that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. We believe and are watching for you to perform Your Word that resurrection is coming to the dry and dead places in our lives and that revival is coming to America.
- Use worship as a weapon of your warfare to contend for the Word the Lord has given you.
