Today’s Readings:
Psalm 37
Proverbs 8

““In the beginning I was there, for God possessed me even before he created the universe. From eternity past I was set in place, before the world began. I was anointed from the beginning. Before the oceans depths were poured out, and before there were any glorious fountains overflowing with water, I was there, dancing! Even before one mountain had been sculpted or one hill raised up, I was already there, dancing! When he created the earth, the fields, even the first atom of dust, I was already there. When he hung the tapestry of the heavens and stretched out the horizon of the earth, when the clouds and skies were set in place and the subterranean fountains began to flow strong, I was already there. When he set in place the pillars of the earth and spoke the decrees of the seas, commanding the waves so that they wouldn’t overstep their boundaries, I was there, close to the Creator’s side as his master artist. Daily he was filled with delight in me as I playfully rejoiced before him. I laughed and played, so happy with what he had made, while finding my delight in the children of men.””

Proverbs‬ ‭8:22-31‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My joy is in you. My joy is because of you, and My joy is inside of you. I delight in you — in the way you are, in they way you do. I delight in your explorations, your dreams, your desires and your building. I delight in your doing. I delight in what you do, and I delight in who you are. The very essence of you delights Me and brings Me joy. I take pleasure in seeing you try, in seeing you create, in seeing you plan, design and build. I take joy in the connections you make and the relationships and community you build and foster and grow. This is how you reflect Me. You reflect Me in your being, because I made you in My image, in your doing, because I made you to create, in your connections because I made you for community and family. I marvel and delight in you as you live and and work and dream, as you plan and grow and become and do.

“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!”

Psalms‬ ‭37:3-5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I just take such pleasure and such delight in you. Be who I made you to be. Be you. Be absolutely, truly, wonderfully and authentically you. It’s who I want to see. It’s who I want you to be. I made you for Me, and I Am for you. I Am with you. I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. My glory is on you. My grace covers you. And you are the field of My treasure. You are the treasure and the field. Many treasures are found within you, and your very being, your very soul, your very self is a treasure to Me. Be you. Be in love with Me.

How to Respond

  • Ask the Lord to help you strip away any facades, so that you can be authentically, truly you — who He made you to be.
  • Spend time in worship and find pure delight in the presence of the Lord.
  • Pray, Lord, thank You for making me in Your image. Help me to get rid of everything that’s not truly who You made me to be. Help me to be one who lives authentically and purely and is true. Thank You for the freedom that comes with finally being who You made me to be. Me.
  • Declare, the Lord is the perfect Creator, the Master Builder and the Great Physician. He is perfect, and He made me in His image. He is perfecting me in His grace.
  • Decree, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. The Lord made no mistakes when He made me. I am who He says I am, and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and upholds me with the right hand of His righteousness.
