Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 33
Matthew 5
Hebrews 12
““Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.””
Matthew 5:14-16 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I Am an all-consuming fire. And no man, no beast, no principality can extinguish the light of Me. You are the light of the world. I have placed My fire inside of you, inside of your heart. It’s time to stoke the fire. It’s time to turn up the heat. It’s time to burn with passion, with desire, with purity. It’s time for your fires to roar to a blazing undeniable roar. I have called you My burning ones, so burn with passion. I have called you My city on a hill, so light up the world. I have called you My passionate ones, so turn up the fire, stoke the fire and let it burn. It’s time to let the roar in your heart escape through your mouth. It’s time to let the fire of your heart roar through your lips. It’s time for My fiery ones to roar. It’s time for them to unleash with unrelenting passion the roar inside of their hearts — the burning roar that has lain dormant for too long, the burning roar that has been silenced and placated, even medicated and lulled to sleep. The roar inside of you is from Me. The roar inside of you is the burning fire of flames that I have placed in your heart. This is the time and the moment and the day to roar. This is the time to burst into an indiscernible roaring fire that cannot be extinguished and cannot be controlled. Roar with passion for Me. Roar with desire for Me. Roar with eyes of purity and for purity and truth.
13 “You who are far away, hear what I have done;
Isaiah 33:13-16
And you who are near, acknowledge My might.”
14 Sinners in Zion are terrified;
Trembling has seized the godless.
“Who among us can live with the consuming fire?
Who among us can live with continual burning?”
15 He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity,
He who rejects unjust gain
And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe;
He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed
And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
16 He will dwell on the heights,
His refuge will be the impregnable rock;
His bread will be given him,
His water will be sure.
These are days to set the world ablaze because of your fire for Me. Be ones of a different spirit. Be ones who are too hot to handle, too hot to approach because of the heat of your passionate desire for Me, because of your unrelenting demands for truth and purity in the hands and eyes and hearts and mouths of those who purport to serve Me. This is a day and an hour where purity and truth will be demanded and required by My lovers — will be required of those who lead and serve My people, who call themselves shepherds, who call themselves pastors, apostles, reverends, priests and prophets. Purity and truth, clean hands and pure hearts will be demanded, will be required.
“Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised, “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!” Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain. Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!”
Hebrews 12:25-29 TPT
A stark difference will be seen, will be obvious and notable between those who operate in word and those who live in power — from those who look like domesticated cats and those who roar with the fire and ferocity of lions. My roaring ones, My fiery ones will run out the domesticated cats from their midst. They will be cast to the side and pushed to the outskirts, as the days of fire require fire. Passive Christianity will be found to no longer have a place. It’s the fire or bust. It’s in or out. The fire is ascending, the fire is catching, the fire is expanding, roaring and burning. Those who can’t handle the heat, who don’t desire the burning will be pushed aside and left out in the cold. These are the days of the burning, for the burning, by the burning ones to the All-Consuming Fire. These are days of pure worship. These are days of fire.
How to Respond
- Repent for passivity and a lukewarm heart for the Lord who saved you, rescued you, redeemed you — who has set you in Heavenly places as a joint-heir with Christ our King who died and was raised again FOR YOU.
- Pray, Lord, give me a song with which to worship You. Help me as I move to stoke the fires of my own heart, to burn up the passivity, the taking You for granted attitude and the lifestyle of focusing on only what I see. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear what You are doing in this day and hour. Help me to shake off and burn up the lackadaisical ways and burn with a fire and a passion for You, for purity and for truth. Cause my burning to set many many more ablaze for You. Help me to roar with all that You have put in my heart to roar. I want to be a domesticated cat no more. You made me to be a lion. I want to roar.
- Declare, these are the days and the hour of the burning, of passion, of purity, truth and fire.
- Decree, I will be counted as a burning one who roars with flames of fire and ferocity for My King. I will not sit back, and I will not be shut up or extinguished. I will rise up, and roar. The Lord Himself has awakened the lion and the fire within me, and I will not be silent. I will roar.
