Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 54-55
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent;
Isaiah 54:2-3
Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords
And strengthen your pegs.
3 “For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your descendants will possess nations
And will resettle the desolate cities.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My faith is in you. Put your faith in Me. My trust is in you. Put your trust in Me. My grace is in you. It is more than you need. My grace is more than you need. I will supply every need according to My riches in glory. I will supply every need. My grace extends far beyond your needs. My grace is so expansive, so wide, so broad, so deep, so high. You are covered, more than covered by My grace. This is a time for building. This is a time for growth, multiplication and wide, wide expansion, because My grace is covering you, far outstripping the small space in which you are living. I Am calling you to expansion. I Am calling you to dream bigger, think bigger, build bigger, extend farther. Expand the cords of your tent pegs.
Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters;
Isaiah 55:1-2
And you who have no money come, buy and eat.
Come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without cost.
2 “Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And delight yourself in abundance.
You have been situated in one spot, and it has been great, and it has been lovely. It has been an answer to prayer, and it has been a miracle. It’s time to go well beyond the small station from which you started. It’s time to go from dollhouse to mansion. It’s time to go from toy warehouse to industrial complex. This is a time of exponential expansion. Dream as big as you can, and then ask Me to multiply your vision. My grace far exceeds the place you are holding. It far exceeds the extent of your wildest vision for building. The grace of My anointing on the project or projects I have put in your hand is so far beyond your comprehension. You cannot outdream Me. It’s time to dream bigger, and it’s time to start expanding.
Where your building has slowed and your processes have become normalized and standardized, I’m calling you to disruption. I’m calling you to the disruption of expansion. These are not days to settle into a status quo. These are days to throw out your net as far as your body can launch it, and watch the numbers of fish with which I bless you. These are days to expect more, to aim higher, to reach father, to build bigger.
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Isaiah 55:8-13
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it bear and sprout,
And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
12 “For you will go out with joy
And be led forth with peace;
The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 “Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up,
And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up,
And it will be a memorial to the Lord,
For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.”
Occupation is more glorious with expansion. Your occupation will be defined by the expansion. The place which I have called you to occupy will be defined by the expansion. Expand in obedience. Stretch out wider, go higher and farther in obedience. These are the days of launching and tremendous, exponential expansion. Don’t be satisfied with your small little plot. Have the eyes of hungry, adventurous pioneers, and set your boundary markers farther than the eye can see. These are days of taking new territory, of taking new ground, and the only limiting factor is you. Dream bigger. Plan bigger. 10X your biggest dream, and then stretch a little farther. My grace still extends beyond those borders. I dare you to outdream Me. I dare you to try.
How to Respond
- Have fun daydreaming with the Lord about the future for the visions that He has placed in your heart. Ask Him to help you expand those beyond the scariest, wildest dreams you have had for them, and then ask Him to help you stretch even farther.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that Your grace for building is here. Thank You that Your Spirit guides us in all truth, and leads us far beyond our expectations or imagination. Come and anoint my imagination to dream bigger for the plans, projects and visions You have placed in my heart. I long to build with You and to greatly, wildly expand because Your grace is here for building. Help me to dream, plan and expand far beyond my current thinking.
- Declare, this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. The Lord’s grace extends far beyond the limitations of my understanding and my wildest imagination. His grace for dreaming bold, audacious dreams and building from those dreams is here. The Lord always does more and better than we can ask, think or imagine.
- Decree, I will dream bigger. I will untether myself from logical expectations and limitations, and I will throw my imagination open wide to dream with the Lord bigger dreams than I have ever even fathomed. I will build and occupy with Him, in the place of the grace of His anointing.
