Today’s Reading:
Psalm 20
“In your day of danger may Yahweh answer and deliver you. May the name of the God of Jacob set you safely on high! May supernatural help be sent from his sanctuary. May he support you from Zion’s fortress! May he remember every gift you have given him and celebrate every sacrifice of love you have shown him. Pause in his presence”
Psalms 20:1-3 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Look out on the horizon. Look out beyond the break. Look out with your spirit farther than your eyes can see. Heaven’s armies are gathering there. They are amassing there, and they are readying for battle there. They will advance toward your day, even as your day advances toward them. And soon the two will meet. The battle is approaching. The clash is approaching. The climax of the great spiritual war is approaching.
“May Yahweh give you every desire of your heart and carry out your every plan as you go to battle. When you succeed, we will celebrate and shout for joy. Flags will fly when victory is yours! Yes, God will answer your prayers, and we will praise him! I know Yahweh gives me all that I ask for and brings victory to his anointed king. My deliverance cry will be heard in his holy heaven. By his mighty hand miracles will manifest through his saving strength.”
Psalms 20:4-6 TPT
You have everything you need. Put on the full armor of God. Suit up, and remain at the ready. Keep your eyes locked on Me, and remain busy about Your Father’s work. My grace is here for you. My grace is here for the battle. My grace is here for the clash and for the great overcoming. Together we will dethrone kings whose hands are defiled with blood and whose policies and personal lives are filled with iniquity. This clash will dethrone principalities that have ruled with darkness and have darkened hearts and eyes. This is a time of a great overthrowing, of great dethroning of kings and princes who have wrought sin, death and destruction on your land and have brought them to your families and homes. We will take them down in this great spiritual clash. They will lose. They have already lost, but they will be removed. Then a fresh air will blow in, a fresh breeze of cleansing and purity will blow in, and worthy ones will take their place. Be vigilant that it is indeed worthy ones who take their place in the natural and in the spirit.
“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage. Give victory to our king, O Yahweh! The day we call on you, give us your answer!”
Psalms 20:7-9 TPT
The challenge has been issued. I have thrown down the gauntlet. The forces are assembling for a great and fearsome clash. Yet you can remain at peace. Yet you can remain covered by My grace and my love. Don’t be shaken by the shaking and the clash. Be busy about My work, because it is work needed to fill the vacuum, to replace the refuse, to secure the stronghold after the enemy has been vanquished. Remain busy about your Father’s work. He will bring the opening, and He will bring the increase. From Heaven’s perspective, the battle is won. Stay busy about you Father’s business.
How to Respond
- Keep your hands and efforts busy with the work the Lord has given you.
- Pray, God of Angel armies come. Come in power and in might, and overthrow the works and workers of darkness here. Come with an overthrowing. Come for a massive overturning of evil, death and destruction. Come to bring life and life more abundant, to bring healing, purity and truth. Restore righteousness and justice Lord. Show us our place in the battle and in filling the void created by Your dethroning of kings, princes and spiritual rulers. Come Lord. Do what only You can do. Bring Your great move of cleansing and restoration.
- Declare, Great is the Lord and worthy of all praise. Great and glorious is our God. He is the one who fights for us. He is the one who raises rulers up and takes rulers down. There’s nothing that can stop our God.
- Decree, I will be busy about my Father’s work. I will do my part in the great clash that brings the overturning and overthrowing. I will not be shaken in the shaking. Instead I will be found doing exactly what the Lord has called me to do, and I will be worshipping the Lord of all.
