“I love you, Yahweh, and I’m bonded to you, my strength! Yahweh, you’re the bedrock beneath my feet, my faith-fortress, my wonderful deliverer, my God, my rock of rescue where none can reach me. You’re the shield around me, the mighty power that saves me, and my high place.”

The Spirit of the Living God says,
I’ve been here from eternity past. I Am unchanging. Though the earth may shake, though chaos may swirl around you, I Am the unchanging One. I Am the faithful One. I Am the firm foundation, the rock on which to stand. You don’t have to fear the shaking. You don’t have to be thrown off-kilter by the onslaught of news and turmoil. I Am the firm foundation, the unshakeable One whose Kingdom is unshakeable. In Me, you can be steady when all else seems to totter and sway, when all else seems to shake violently and to be spinning out of control. In Me and upon Christ the solid rock, the only firm foundation, you can be at perfect peace. You can continue the work I have put in your hands. You can never miss a beat, because you are living and operating and existing in my zone of perfect peace. Wherever I lead you I Am your shield and a strong tower of refuge and strength. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. I will cover you on the battlefield.
“Yahweh, what a perfect God you are! All Yahweh’s promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you, the wraparound God. Could there be any other god like Yahweh? For there is not a more secure foundation than you.”
Psalms 18:30-31 TPT
Don’t go running in directions I haven’t sent you. Don’t go out into territory that I have not directed you to go. Stay on assignment. Stay in the covering of My grace. That is the place where you will have success. That is the place where you will see advancements against all odds. That is the place where you will experience a supernatural outpouring of blessing while all else around you seems to be falling apart. This is not a time to do what makes logical sense. Throw conventional wisdom on the burn pile. It’s got no utility here. These are days where My sheep know My voice. These are days to be exactly where the direction I have placed in your heart tells you to be. It doesn’t matter what it may look like to others. It doesn’t matter how out of season or out of place it may seem if I have called you there.
“He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure. I will follow his commands and I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what. For I’ve kept my eyes focused on his righteous words, and I’ve obeyed everything that he’s told me to do. I’ve been blameless before him and followed all his ways, keeping my heart pure. And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes. Good people will taste your goodness. And to those who are loyal to you, you love to prove that you are loyal and true.”

This is the place and the time of My isolated showers of blessing — on faithfulness in the shaking, on building during the shaking, on absolutely determined forward motion in the place I have called you. In these places the faithful are receiving an outrageous isolated outpouring of My favor, My blessing in the tight encirclement of My grace. This season may feel restrictive. It may feel confining. It may feel administratively burdensome, and it may feel like you are barely inching forward with progress. But this is a season of laying the mortar and cementing the structure that I have called you to build. This is the time that fortifies the framework and the essential structure of what I have called you to build and from which I have called you to operate. As you take these steps, as you do the work I have called you to do — even the monotonous and tedious and painstaking pieces of it — My grace will surround you and move you forward. My isolated showers of blessing will pour out continually in your life, your business, your ministry, your creative endeavor.
“Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you! The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence every moment.”

It won’t always feel this confining. We are edging closer to the place of wide-open spacious living that your heart craves. But stick with me through this squeezing. The tight encirclement of My grace is here. It may feel like a pressure cooker. It may feel like the tight spot in which you must work and get certain things done, but My blessing is also pouring out specifically on your faithfulness. And we will soon reach that place of wide-open spacious living. You will feel the release. You will know when the tight boundaries of My grace that hem you in – in this small spot have breathed and expanded and have opened up to give you more room. Until then, stay, operate, and be faithful within the tight circle of My grace. I have purpose in it.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord and discuss the place He has called you to be working, moving and building right now. Ask Him what you may need to discard to be more effective.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for the circle of Your grace that surrounds me as I move, operate and build in faithfulness. Help me to stay on task. Help me to build despite the irritations, the frustrations and the distractions that try to draw me out of this tight spot You have called me to be. Lord, thank You that Your grace is moving me forward, helping me to build and Your favor and blessing has been pouring out and will continue to pour out on me as I build what You have put in my heart to build, as I am faithful in the very specific work You have called me to for this point in time. Thank You for the promise that this tight squeezing by the circle of Your grace will give way to the wide-open spacious place that my heart craves to be.
- Declare, the Lord is calling us to intentional, determined faithfulness in building what He has called us to build. His grace will move us forward and make us successful as long as we stay within its boundaries. He is pouring out His favor and blessing in isolated showers on those who are staying and being faithful in the tight space He has called them to be. In that place, we are surrounded by His grace.
- Decree, I will be faithful in the building. I will be faithful in the squeezing, and I will not be shaken or drawn off-course. I will be found busy about my Father’s business, and I will experience the outpouring of His blessing and favor by staying in exactly the place that He has called me to be, building precisely what He has called me to build. He is moving me forward, and I will not stay in this tight circle of confinement forever. He will release me into a wide-open spacious place in His perfect timing.
