Today’s Reading:
Hebrews 3

“So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the living God. This is the time to encourage each other to never be stubborn or hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. For we are mingled with the Messiah, if we will continue unshaken in this confident assurance from the beginning until the end.”

Hebrews‬ ‭3:12-14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
It’s time to live in wonder. It’s time to have fresh eyes like a child and see the world in absolute wonder. It’s time to let your heart dream freely with no limitations again. It’s time to set your heart to freedom mode, to the mode where nothing is impossible and everything is a possibility within reach. It’s time to live with eyes of wonder. Dwell on My grace and how far I’ve brought you. Does it not just cause your heart to light up with gratitude and wonder at how much has changed, how much you have changed and how far I’ve brought you? This is the wonder of My faithfulness. This is the wonder of My grace. Dwell on the saving grace of Jesus. Dwell on your great salvation. Does it not cause you to stagger backwards in awe? Your life was going one way, and you were rescued, reunited with Me and baptized with light, with new life and with a brand new wide open world of possibilities in Me. This is the wonder of salvation and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Get caught up in the wonder of Me. Get so built up in your most holy faith that you are an unshakeable one. You are one whose anchor goes down deep, way beneath the surface. Your relationship with Me has a long history, a track record upon which you have built your faith. I interrupted your life, and it was to glorious benefit. It was to a benefit much larger than just yourself. And it was with eternal consequence.

“But Christ is more than a Servant, he was faithful as the Son in charge of God’s house. And now we are part of his house if we continue courageously to hold firmly to our bold confidence and our victorious hope. This is why the Holy Spirit says, “If only you would listen to his voice this day! Don’t make him angry by hardening your hearts, like your ancestors did during the days of their rebellion, when they were tested in the wilderness. There your fathers tested me and tried my patience even though they saw my miracles for forty years they still doubted me! This ignited my anger with that generation and I said about them, ‘They wander in their hearts just like they do with their feet, and they refuse to learn my ways.’ My heart grieved over them so I decreed: ‘They will not enter into my rest!’ ””

Hebrews‬ ‭3:6-11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You will see some wonders in your day that other generations have longed to see. But just like the Israelites who were leaving Egypt, you must have eyes of faith to see. Build up your most holy faith. Re-train your eyes for wonder. This is not the time for an unbelieving heart. This is a time to believe that with God all things are possible. This is a time to see endless possibilities sprawling before you, because I Am your Lord and King, because we have so great a salvation, because I promised you that you would do even greater works that Me, because I have appointed this time in history to be a world-wide rescue mission the likes of which has never been seen.

Re-train your eyes for wonder. Re-train your heart for faith. Refuse unbelief. Refuse stubbornness. Operate in quick obedience and with a heart of love and faith. Refuse petulance, and for crying out loud, do not wish to go back from whence you came. That place and that time has passed. It is gone. Don’t stir up the anger of the Lord with grumbling and complaints. Stir up instead your most holy faith. Stir up wonder and the absolute conviction that He has come to change the world.

“For again, the Scriptures say, If only today you would listen to his voice. Don’t make him angry by hardening your hearts, as you did in the wilderness rebellion. The same people who were delivered from bondage and brought out of Egypt by Moses, were the ones who heard and still rebelled. They grieved God for forty years by sinning in their unbelief, until they dropped dead in the desert. So God swore an oath that they would never enter into his calming place of rest all because they disobeyed him. It is clear that they could not enter into their inheritance because they wrapped their hearts in unbelief.”

Hebrews‬ ‭3:15-19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

These are days of great wonder. Be in wonder. Be in expectation. Live in anticipation, and stir up your most holy faith. Leave the past behind, and move forward in total obedience, in humility and with the wonder of a child. This is the life of faith to which you were called. This is the life of wonder.

How to Respond

  • Review your history with the Lord and stir up gratitude and faith in your own heart.
  • Repent of your unbelief and re-train your mind, discipline your mind in the belief that anything is possible with God. Take every thought captive and make it bow in obedience to Jesus, the one who conquered sin, death and the grave.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Bring to mind moments and seasons of Your faithfulness. Help me to re-live the day of my salvation. Show me how to rid myself of toxic unbelief and any cynicism I may have about what You can or will do. Help me to stir up my most holy faith, and restore the eyes of a child to me. Restore to me the joy of my salvation, and help me to live with abandon, in total quick obedience, with great expectation and with wonder.
  • Declare, Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He is the God for which nothing is impossible.
  • Decree, I will shun unbelief and a hardened heart. I will take every thought captive and make it bow in obedience to Jesus. I will speak with discipline and not allow unbelief or negativity to come from my mouth. I will stir up my most holy faith by reviewing the faithfulness of the Lord in my life. I will be one who reminds others of the faithfulness of the Lord and whose life is a walking testimony of Jesus. I will re-train my eyes for wonder, so that I can see the great miracles appointed for this time.
