1 Corinthians 2
Isaiah 62
“For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power. However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.”

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Get your hopes up. Fan the flame hotter and hotter. These are days of resurrection. These are days of unexpected victory. These are days to march in bold confidence in the Lord your God. I Am able to perform great feats that eyes have never seen nor ears have ever heard. These are days of miracles. These are days of great powerful turnarounds that happen suddenly.
4 It will no longer be said to you, “[b]Forsaken,”
Isaiah 62:4-7 NASB 1995
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “[c]Desolate”;
But you will be called, “[d]My delight is in her,”
And your land, “[e]Married”;
For the Lord delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So your sons will marry you;
And as the [f]bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So your God will rejoice over you.
6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen;
All day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves;
7 And give Him no rest until He establishes
And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Change is here in a relentless, non-negotiating way — like the waves pounding a sea wall. Change will not relent. I will not relent. Your job is to not relent. Don’t give up hope. Don’t give up faith. Don’t give up expecting. Don’t give up on love. Plow forward with fiery eyes of faith and a heart whose love and resources flow from the throne of God. This is an insurrection against evil. This is an overthrowing of wickedness. This is a campaign of truth led by the Lord God Most High. Nothing can stop it. Stick with it. Stick with Me. Keep up the pace. Keep your life hidden in Me. Keep your life aligned to My Word. I will provide your every need. I will strengthen you. I will give you wisdom and strategies that no man could impart.
8 The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm,
Isaiah 62:8-12 NASB 1995
“I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies;
Nor will [g]foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.”
9 But those who garner it will eat it and praise the Lord;
And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
10 Go through, go through the gates,
Clear the way [h]for the people;
Build up, build up the highway,
Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth,
Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes;
Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”
12 And they will call them, “The holy people,
The redeemed of the Lord”;
And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.”
Get excited. These are days of great victories. These are days of overtaking. These are days of trampling the enemy underneath your feet and marching onward toward the prize. My Kingdom come. My will being done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Lift your chin. Lift your spirits. Raise your hopes and expectations high. These are days of a mighty deliverance. Breakthrough is here. Turnaround is here. A great overthrowing the world could not have foreseen is here.
How to Respond
- Trust and obey the voice and the Word of the Lord.
- Pray, Lord, thank You. You are the God of Angel Armies. You are the God who goes before us and fights for us. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. You are the all-sufficient God in whom there is no lack and no shifting shadow. You are the Great I Am. In You and with You we will see the victories our hearts have longed to see. In You we will experience the turnaround and the overthrowing of wickedness for which we have prayed. In You we will trample the enemy underneath our feet. Thank You Lord. You are holy.
- Declare, our God is an awesome God. He reigns from Heaven above with wisdom, power and love, our God is an awesome God. He is ever victorious. He never lies, never leaves, never loses, never fails. He is Emmanuel, God with us.
- Decree, I will align my life and my heart, my expectations and my faith with the Lord and His infallible Word. I will keep my hands busy about My Father’s business, and I will not relent. I will be as relentless as the waves crashing against a sea wall until the Lord brings the breakthrough. I will see and be part of the breakthrough, the turnaround, the great trouncing of evil. And I will participate in crushing the enemy underneath my feet. The Lord, His Angel Armies and His warrior lovers will have the victories.
