Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 49

“Listen to what I have to say, you islands. Pay attention to me, you who live in distant lands. Yahweh called me as his own before I was born and named me while I was still in my mother’s womb. He gives me words that pierce and penetrate. He hid me and protected me in the shadow of his hand. He prepared me like a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver. And he said to me, “Israel, you are my special servant; in you I will be glorified.” I said, “I’ve worked and served for nothing. I have used up all my strength for nothing.” Yet my rights I leave in Yahweh’s hands, and my just reward is with my God.”

Isaiah‬ ‭49:1-4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Can you see? I’ve clothed you in change. I’ve made it easy for you to move fluidly in times of great change. Can you see I’ve clothed you with wisdom, understanding and revelation? It’s all right there for you to access. It’s at your fingertips. It’s clothing you. You were made to navigate this season of change as royalty. You are not one tossed about by the waves of adversity. You are a child of the Spirit, and you are moved by the impulses of the Spirit. The tossing waves do not draw you off-course or off-task. The pelting rain and debris does not cause you to shut down and hide. You walk forward in confidence, in boldness, with eyes of fire — pressing on for the cause of truth, pressing on because of the task at hand, pressing on in the assignment to which I have called you. You are sons and daughters of the Most High King. You are clothed in royalty, and I have given you everything you need to confidently and fearlessly navigate through the stormy conditions.

“And now, the Lord Yahweh— who shaped me in the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob’s tribes back to him that Israel would be gathered back to him, for I am honored in the sight of Yahweh. I find the source of all my strength in my God— who says: “Is it too small a thing for you, my servant, to restore greatness to Jacob’s tribes and the survivors of Israel? I will make you to be a light to the nations and to bring the light of my salvation to the ends of the earth!” Yahweh, Israel’s Kinsman-Redeemer and Holy One, says to the one who is deeply despised and repulsed by rulers and a slave to the ruling class: “Kings will see and stand up in respect; princes will bow down to honor the faithfulness of Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.””

Isaiah‬ ‭49:5-7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

All that I have called you to do does not have to be fraught like the conditions around you, does not have to be tumultuous like the conditions and the people surrounding you. I have made a path and a way that is cleared, that is prepared with and coated with grace for My people, My lovers, the ones doing the work of My hands. To the outside eye, everyone is walking through the same messy, uncertain, very stormy conditions. But your path is in the zone of My peace and grace. Your path is not bogged down by the level of resistance that appears to be universal from the outside. I have made a way that looks the same as all other paths to the naked and non-spiritual eye. But to the one walking the path and to the ones walking paths like yours that I have created for them, they can see that you are in the zone of My grace and peace. This is how you will advance undercover. This is how you will make up great ground, take vast swaths of territory in the storm. Those who are not walking a path of the Lord, answering a call and fulfilling an assignment of the Lord will not even perceive the grace and peace conditions in which you are operating. They will think the experience is the same for everyone until they stop and speak with you.

“Yahweh says: “When the time of showing you favor has come, I will answer your heart’s cry. I will help you in the day of salvation, for I have fixed my eyes on you. I have made you a covenant people to restore the land and to resettle families on forgotten inheritances. You will declare to prisoners, ‘You’re free!’ and to those in darkness, ‘Step out into the light!’ They will be like sheep that graze beside the roads and find pasture on the barren hillside. They will never be hungry or thirsty. Neither scorching sun nor desert wind will hurt them, for he, the Loving One, will guide them and lead them to restful, renewing streams of water. I will level all my mountains as a road for them and raise up my highways. Look! They will come from faraway lands— some from the north, some from the west, and some from the land of Sinim.” Sing for joy, you heavens! Shout, you earth, and rejoice with dancing, shouting, and glee! Burst into joyous songs, you mountains, for Yahweh has comforted his beloved people. He will show tenderness and compassion to his suffering ones.”

Isaiah‬ ‭49:8-13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

For those who get close to you in the storm, I will make a way for them to step into your zone of peace and grace and experience a taste of it. This is part of the wooing. I will allow you to be a shelter for the wave-tossed for moments, and your life will minister to them. Your story, your testimony, Your praise and adoration of God Most High will draw them into the quiet bliss, the peace and grace of this protected zone I have created for My lovers. The testimony of many wave-tossed, storm-soaked ones will be that they stumbled into the zone of My grace and peace during the storm, and they simply couldn’t go back to the way things were before. It’s a beautiful testimony, and it will be the testimony of many. Prepare your lips to be ready to speak of My goodness as I draw people into the zone of peace and grace I created for you. You will be part of their testimony of grace and new life.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord in the storm. He has equipped you with everything you need.
  • Be ready to speak of the goodness and provision and the grace of the Lord when He draws people into your path.
  • Pray, Lord, thank You that You have given me everything I need to navigate the stormy conditions in peace, grace, confidence and boldness. You have provided a way for me to make great advances during low visibility and high resistance times, for Your Kingdom and Your Name’s sake. I love You Lord. Help me to keep my eyes on You and not get distracted by the winds and the waves.
  • Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. My God makes a way where there is no way. He shines a light in the darkness. He is the lamp unto my feet and the light unto my path. He’s the Lord of the times and seasons, and His ways are unfathomable. My God is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Whom or what shall I fear?
  • Decree, I will walk boldly, confidently and with ease on the path the Lord has given me — even in the midst of the stormy and low visibility conditions. I will minister to those the Lord sets in my path, and I will be a testimony of the grace and peace of Jesus Christ my King. I will make great advances for the Kingdom during the storm, because of the grace and peace provided by the Lord.
