““Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.””

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Let My Spirit draw you forward. Let the light of My life in Your heart cause you to shine at levels not seen before, not experienced before. We are heading into dark and turbulent times. Let My Spirit guide you, pull you forward, and let My light that I have placed inside of your heart shine on the path before you as a source of great comfort and hope to those living in the dark. You have nothing to fear. You have NOTHING to fear. I Am the Lord of the darkness and the light. The darkness does not intimidate me or shut Me out. I hover over the darkness, and I bring order to chaos. Let My light inside of you — your light — so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.
“Delightfully loved friends, don’t trust every spirit, but carefully examine what they say to determine if they are of God, because many false prophets have mingled into the world. Here’s the test for those with the genuine Spirit of God: they will confess Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh. Everyone who does not acknowledge that Jesus is from God has the spirit of antichrist, which you heard was coming and is already active in the world.”

People like to say the truth lies in the middle. The truth is not in what he says or what she says but it is somewhere in the middle. No. I Am the truth. The truth can always be found in Me. Why would you look for the truth with this one or that one? Why would you throw in your lot blindly with a fallible one? Throw your lot in completely with the Word of the Lord God Most High. All else is sinking sand. Yes, be taught. Yes submit to earthly authorities and be taught of the Word — both the written and the present Word of the Lord. But verify. Study and show yourself approved. Don’t follow men blindly. Don’t follow teachers or preachers or prophets or healers blindly. My sheep know My voice. Above all else, follow Me. Your loyalty is to Me, not to a title, not to a religion, not to an institution. Your loyalty is to Me, the Lord God Most High. All else is sinking sand. Build your life upon Me. Build your life upon Christ the Solid Rock, and you will not be moved.
“So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. And don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will. And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled continually with the Holy Spirit. And your hearts will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord. Keep speaking to each other with words of Scripture, singing the Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit! Always give thanks to Father God for every person he brings into your life in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:15-20 TPT
Join hands with believers. Participate. Teach, learn and encourage each other with spiritual songs and psalms. But be on guard, because your enemy the devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The time is short and the days are evil, so be very careful how you live. Above all else, follow Me. I Am your guide. I Am the lamp unto your feet and the light unto your path. If you allow yourself to be led by Me, guided by Me, driven by only the Wind of My Spirit at your back, I will get you through to the other side of this dark and turbulent time with glory and with victory in your hands.
How to Respond
- Check your loyalties and priorities. Make the Lord number one.
- Study the scriptures diligently, so you will not be deceived and so you can understand the times.
- Pray, Holy Spirit apart from You I can do nothing. Guide me and help me to be one who submits to Your guiding. Help me to let my light shine and be a source of comfort, encouragement and hope to those around me living in darkness. I don’t want to do anything to quench Your move. I want to be a vessel from whom You can flow freely and in power. I lay my life down in total surrender to You Lord. Let me be entwined as one with You.
- Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He lifts leaders up and He takes others down. The Earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. He is the Lord of the times and seasons, and He will set His lovers in a safe high place, near to His face. He will protect us from the devourer and from every evil spirit that sets itself against us. Evil will not prevail against us. The Lord is the always- victorious One.
- Decree, I will submit fully to the Lord and be led by Him alone. I will test the words that I am taught by earthly authorities against the Word of the Living God. I will let my light so shine before men that they see my good works and glorify my Father in Heaven. I will walk in the power and confidence of the Lord, under His guidance and at His voice through the dark and turbulent times. My God will see me through. He will answer my cry for help every time time I pray, and I will feel His presence even in my time of pressure and trouble. The Lord will be my glorious hero and give me a feast. I will be satisfied with a full life and with all that the Lord does for me. I will enjoy the fullness of my salvation.
