Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 25
“O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.”
Isaiah 25:1 NASB1995
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Don’t be surprised when I do what I said. Don’t be surprised when I fulfill every promise and break through every delay. Don’t be surprised when your dry heart bursts with joy and you feel the rain of My favor, grace and anointing on you dropping like oil from Heaven. Don’t be surprised when you are caught in the a sudden thunderstorm of a sudden outpouring of all your hopes and dreams and prayers coming at once. Don’t be surprised when I move to fulfill My Word, My promises in a tempest.
“In that day they will say, “Behold! This is our God! We’ve waited for him, and he saved us! This one, the Lord Yahweh—he is worth the wait! We will keep shouting with joy as we find our bliss in his salvation-kiss!” The mighty, gracious hand of the Lord Yahweh will rest upon this mountain, but the Moabites will be trampled under his feet as straw gets trampled into the manure. They will stretch out their arms in it like a swimmer stretches out his arms to swim, yet God will bring down their pride, and they will thrash and sink despite their struggle. He will tear down the high walls of Moab’s fortresses and flatten them into the dust.”
Isaiah 25:9-12 TPT
The time of two storms is here. The time of two harvests is here. The lovers, those close to My heart will find themselves in a downpour, a tempest storm, a sudden overwhelming storm of blessing, grace, fulfillment and favor. They will find themselves in the midst of My love and Me doing what I said I would do. All the while, in the parallel is a storm of hail. Not a summer storm, but a powerful judgement storm of hail and wind and terror coming for the wicked, surrounding the wicked and enveloping the wicked. Their crops and their works will be destroyed by the hail of My judgement. Their structures and their plans will be laid bare and ripped up from the earth. Their properties and their crops will be destroyed. This is the time of the two storms. The summer storm of fresh outpouring and fulfillment for My lovers, the storm of grace and abundance for My faithful lovers and the hailstorm of judgement for the wicked — where nothing will remain untouched, unscathed.
“The Lord of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine. And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, Even the veil which is stretched over all nations. He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.”
Isaiah 25:6-8 NASB1995
For My lovers a harvest will be reaped in abundance — a bounty of goodness and delight. The harvest will be beautiful, healthy and strong as far as the eye can see. The amber waves of grain will be restored in this harvest. And for the wicked, they will experience an abundant harvest of rot and decay. Their harvest will attract everything that is associated with death and dying. The fruit of their labor will be a stench and the vultures and every scavenging animal and everything that creeps and crawls to dismantle death will come for their harvest. They have reaped death, and death they will sow. My scavengers of light will consume and destroy every remnant of them. Every remnant of death, every aspect of their harvest of finality will be consumed to bring a grace on the land, a rest on the land, a healing on the land where death had been sown. This is the time of two storms and two harvests. Choose this day whom you will serve. Like Joshua, be found with those who say, as for Me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
How to Respond
- Stir up your affection, your love, your deep longing for the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You are the God who always does what You said You will do. You always come through. You are the God of breakthrough and every victory. You never fail. You never leave. You never lose. And You will not be mocked. Thank You for Your fulfillment storms — one of blessing, grace and answered prayer, one of judgement that destroys the works and the strongholds of the wicked. Thank You for the time of two harvests, where all will reap what we have sown — for life or for death, for abundance or decay. Thank You that even in Your judgement You have a plan to restore the land to original intent, to health and to healing. Thank You Lord.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness and the light dwells with Him.
- Decree, I will purify myself and live in a way that pursues holiness and seeks to honor the Lord by following His Word. I will experience the summer rainstorm outpouring of favor, grace and promises fulfilled, answered prayers and delight. And I will be a spectator as the wicked perish in the terrorizing hailstorm of their judgement, for they will be paid back for what they have done! I will reap an abundant harvest of strength, health and prosperity; and I will see the wicked reap their abundant harvest of death, rot and decay. The Lord will swallow up death for all time and wipe the tears from all the faces. He will remove the reproach of His people from all the Earth.
