Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 40
Psalm 91
“But even though grass withers and the flower fades, the word of our God stands strong forever!” Go up on a high mountain, you joyful messengers of Zion, and lift up your voices with power. You who proclaim joyous news to Jerusalem, shout it out and don’t be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!” Look! Here comes Lord Yahweh as a victorious warrior; he triumphs with his awesome power. Watch as he brings with him his reward and the spoils of victory to give to his people. He will care for you as a shepherd tends his flock, gathering the weak lambs and taking them in his arms. He carries them close to his heart and gently leads those that have young.”
Isaiah 40:8-11 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My pleasure is on My children. My pleasure is on their endeavors, on their adventures, on their visions and their dreams. This is a time for those ones who have drawn close to My heart. This is a time where I astound them with My faithfulness. They know it deep in their hearts. They have lived it, seen it. But they have not seen anything yet. My faithfulness will rock the nations. My faithfulness will tower over the peoples, over the nations, over the governments, over the world systems with ease. I Am rising up as a good Father, as THE good Father of all My children on the Earth. I Am gathering my little ones close to Me, close to My heart, into My arms. I will place all of My little ones behind Me in a place of safety and protection as I rise up to deal with the enemies of Me and the enemies of My people.
“Even the nations are to him like a drop in a bucket, regarded as nothing more than dust on a scale. He picks up the islands like fine grains of sand. All of Lebanon’s trees are not enough firewood for him, nor are all its animals enough for a burnt offering. The nations are nothing in his eyes; he regards them as absolutely nothing. Who even comes close to being compared to God? How could you ever compare God to an idol?”
Isaiah 40:15-18 TPT
Truth is the measuring line. Justice is the plumb line. I do not grade on a curve. Truth is truth. My righteousness goes forth like a measuring stick and my justice is the plumb line. Many will be weighed in the balances and found lacking. Many hearts will be inspected and found to be as dark as the pit of hell. Many hands will be turned over and found to be covered with innocent blood. This is not a time to mince words. This is not a time to beat around the bushes. My Word stands true forever. My Word is a pillar of truth and a bright light of hope amidst all of the rancor and chaos. Cling to My Word. Run to the shelter of the Lord Jesus Christ and hide. These are days of awakening. These are days of secure shelter. These are days of severe shaking. And these are days where My little ones will remain hidden.
“Don’t you realize that God is the Creator? Don’t you hear the truth? Haven’t you been told this from the beginning? Haven’t you understood this since he laid a firm foundation for the earth? He sits enthroned high above the circle of the earth; to him the people of earth are like grasshoppers! He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, spreading it open like a tent to live in. He reduces rulers to nothing and makes the elite of the earth as nothing at all. They barely get planted and barely take root in their position of power when the Lord blows on them and they wither away, carried off like straw in the stormy wind. The Holy One asks: “Can you find anyone or anything to compare to me? Where is the one equal to me?” Lift up your eyes to the sky and see for yourself. Who do you think created the cosmos? He lit every shining star and formed every glowing galaxy, and stationed them all where they belong. He has numbered, counted, and given each one a name. They shine because of God’s incredible power and awesome might; not one fails to appear!”
Isaiah 40:21-26 TPT
My grace is here for monumental change. I will rise up as on Mt. Perazim. (Perazim means Lord of the breakthrough or My God who breaks through like a flood. 2 Samuel 5:20) I will do My unusual work, an unusual task, and it will leave the world stunned and reeling. It will leave the world in awe and shock and wonder. They will say, “He rose up and stunned the world. The God who our enemies have said has been silent, the God who the enemies said was dead has risen and has defeated them with a single word.” I’m not dead. I’m very much alive. For those who live in My flow, you can feel the teeming life of being in Me. This is a time to live drenched by, covered in, submerged in the Living Water of My Spirit. This is the time to radiate holiness and to be unapologetically true, unapologetically pure, unapologetically proud to be a child of your Lord and King, Christ Jesus. I will stun the world with My faithfulness. Watch as I rise up with ease, as I tower over the nations and the world systems with ease, and I destroy the works of evil with a single word.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord with all of your mind, heart, soul and strength. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
- Draw near to the Lord.
- Immerse yourself in the flow of the Living Water of Holy Spirit.
- Pray, Lord, help me to be right where You have called me to be. Thank You that You have made a way for me to remain safe and secure, hidden in You even in the severe shaking that You are bringing forth. Thank You that You are rising up to show Yourself faithful, mighty and Lord of all. Thank You that You will judge and destroy evil with a single word.
- Declare, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. All honor, glory and praise are due to His Name.
- Decree, I will see the Lord rise up and judge the enemies of His people, the ones who have turned themselves against Him. I will remain hidden, safe and secure in the Lord because I have drawn near to His heart. I will live submerged in the vibrant flow of the Living Water of Holy Spirit, and I will see as the Lord rises in complete ease and towers over the peoples, the nations and the world systems and destroys the works of evil with a single word.
