Psalm 33
”His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail. Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own. The Lord looks over us from where he rules in heaven. Gazing into every heart from his lofty dwelling place, he observes all the peoples of the earth. The Creator of our hearts considers and examines everything we do.“
Psalms 33:11-15 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Trust and obedience are key. They are vital and essential for the time we’re in now. You must hear My voice and respond. Practice hearing My voice. Do you see how My voice warms you from the inside? Learn My voice. Study the markers of how you feel and how you recognize My voice. We are in a dark war season and period where it will be critical to properly hear and discern and quickly obey My voice. I will keep you out of trouble, and I will shield you from harm. But you have to participate.
”Even if a king had the best-equipped army, it would never be enough to save him. Even if the best warrior went to battle, he could not be saved simply by his strength alone. Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty, but they will always disappoint. The eyes of the Lord are upon even the weakest worshipers who love him— those who wait in hope and expectation for the strong, steady love of God. God will deliver them from death, even the certain death of famine, with no one to help.“
Psalms 33:16-19 TPT
This is not a run and hide time. This is a get out and fight time. This is a time to stay busy about your Father’s business. Move quickly when I say move, and jump quickly when I say jump. My voice will protect you if you recognize it and respond. When you know and trust that My voice is guiding you, is warning you and My wraparound shield is protecting you, you can really lean into and enjoy the war season. You can run into the fight without fear, because you know that I Am guarding you, and I will tell you when to duck and cover. Go out into the battle to which I have called you. Go in full joy and confidence. Go out as a king goes into battle, in full confidence that I and My angel armies have gone before you and are your rear guard — that I Am your wraparound shield and My angels are even surrounding you as well.
”The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!“
Psalms 33:20-22 TPT
This is a fierce, dark, intense war season. But in Me nothing is impossible. In Me, you can storm a troop and leap over a wall. I Am upholding you with My righteous right hand. Whom or what shall you fear? Neither the pestilence by night nor the arrows by day. The key, the absolute key is to trust and obey, to hear and respond. Quick and total obedience to My instruction will keep you from all harm, and you will have great fun in the fight.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord. Respond quickly and in total obedience to His instruction.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come and teach me. Help me to better recognize and discern Your voice. Help me to trust in You completely and lean not on my own understanding. Help me to acknowledge You in all my ways and have faith that You will make my path straight.
- Declare, this is a period in which it is critical to discern the voice and Word of the Lord and obey it completely and quickly. The Lord is leading us into battles, protecting us and giving us instruction for the fight. In Him we can enjoy the fight and experience the victory, as long as we trust and obey Him.
- Decree, I will run into the battle in which the Lord has called me to fight. I will listen and respond when I hear His voice of warning, guidance and instruction. I will not be like those who shrink back and are destroyed. I will be one who has faith in the Lord my God and experiences true life.
