Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 59
Psalm 23
Psalm 91

”Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter. Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice. And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.“

Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Justice is coming, and many will get their just desserts. Trust in Me. Keep your eyes and your faith and your heart tied to me, locked on Me. And watch as I deliver justice on your behalf. Watch as I deliver justice on behalf of many who have suffered at the hands of brutal men and women.

”You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!“

Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I will deliver justice, and I will return justice. These are days of those who have been wronged, misused, abused and mistreated, those who have been stolen from and cast aside as no longer useful, these will receive a full measure of My justice and recompense. Even before the ones who meted out the mistreatment, abuse, theft, robbery and brutality and lies — even before these see the guillotine of My justice established. These wicked ones have created an upside down world, and I will deliver upside down justice. Recompense will come before the enemies of my people can understand that their time is up.

”You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.“

Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

This is what it means that I will set a table for you in the presence of your enemies. They will see you rise. They will see you clothed and robed with justice, and they will look on in awe, in confusion and in fear. They will sense that My justice is coming but they cannot see it or understand from which direction it will slice.

How to Respond

  • Keep trusting in the Lord to bring your justice.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit, comfort me. Lift my head. Remind me of your great faithfulness in my life. Help me to keep my eyes on You while I wait for the recompense and the justice that is my heart’s cry. Bring Your just desserts to those who have unrepentantly mistreated, abused, misused, lied to and tormented Your people. Cause them to watch my restoration and promotion in awe and fear.
  • Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He raises leaders up, and He takes leaders down. This is a time of the Lord’s justice, and His justice is perfect.
  • Decree, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. The Lord will deliver perfect and abundant justice to me and to each person in need of justice. His grace is sufficient for me to wait on the day of His perfect justice. I will watch as the wicked and those unjust ones see my full restoration and promotion, and I will see as the Lord delivers swift and powerful justice to them.
