Today’s Reading:
Psalm 91
2 Corinthians 6
Ephesians 5

Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; The day you needed me, I was there to help. Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. Our work as God’s servants gets validated—or not—in the details.

2 Corinthians 6:1-5a MSG

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace is here, and challenges are here. You can look out and see the storm. It is here in a measure, and it is approaching in greater intensity, in greater significance, in greater measure. So is My grace covering you. This is not a time to shrink back and be destroyed. This is a time to rise up in bold courage, in faith and experience true life. This is the time to advance. My grace is covering you in the storm. Don’t be distracted or pulled off assignment by what you see, by what you hear, by reports of good or evil. My great grace canopy is providing you a way forward, is providing you a great path of advancement through the storm in the midst of the storm.

People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right; when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.

2 Corinthians 5b-10 MSG

As others are shuttering their windows and hiding in their rooms, you are to go boldly through the storm. You are to move forward even in the midst of the storm. My grace will protect you from the elements. My grace will cover you and give you a great runway on which to speed forward. This is not a time to hide and wait for the storm to pass. This is a time to advance while all else is grinding to a halt. Watch how I advance you in the storm if you don’t shrink back, if you don’t hide away. Prepare your home. Prepare your family for the storm, and move forward together in great joy, in outrageous confidence that I Am providing the path, the cover and the grace for your significant and astonishing forward movement in the midst of the storm.

Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth.

Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The network of those who reign through the storm will be small but mighty. It is a mighty remnant of warriors who will be working through the storm, come what may. They will say, “He didn’t bring us this far to drop us now. He didn’t take us out of the miry clay, out of the pit, so we would stop now. He didn’t remove the scales from our eyes and the plugs from our ears so that we would hide in our closets now. No, He has saved us for such a time as this, and we will advance in boldness, whatever the cost. Come what may, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” And these remnant warriors will be the first to reach the Promised Land. They will be the first ones who experience the vastness of the wide open spaces. They will look upon their newfound freedom in astonishment. Even though their hearts, minds and imaginations were the ones who best could grasp the freedom available, it will astound and overwhelm even them.

How to Respond

  • Read Psalm 91 out loud, declaring it over your household daily.
  • Trust the promptings of the Lord, and obey them quickly and fully.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit put fresh vision in my spirit. Refresh me, so I can move boldly, courageously and powerfully through the storm full of faith. Thank You for giving me time to prepare. Thank You for showing me how to set my home and family and affairs in order, so I can charge ahead by Your grace and under the covering of Your great grace while others lock their doors and hide. Thank You for making a way forward for me through the storm. And thank You for tapping my shoulder and calling me into the remnant of those who are willing to boldly advance in this storm that is like no other storm we have ever experienced.
  • Declare, I will not shrink back and be destroyed. I will rise up with the boldness of a young lion, and I will be one who experiences true life. I will be found among the faithful.
  • Decree, I will trust the Lord quickly and fully. I will not hesitate or delay. I and my household will advance and make great gains during the storm while most others lock their doors and hide. I will be found amongst the small remnant who did not shrink back but advanced and were the first to see and experience the great vastness, the openness, the unrestricted freedom of the Promised Land that the Lord has prepared for us.
