Today’s Reading:
Psalm 42

I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God. Day and night my tears keep falling and my heart keeps crying for your help, while my enemies mock me over and over, saying, “Where is this God of yours? Why doesn’t he help you?”

Psalms‬ ‭42‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Abraham say,
You’re going to see a victory, but it will not look like you thought it would. My heart is burning for America. The flames go higher and higher. The prayers of the saints for this nation are an incense that comes into My flame of passion, comes into My heart and is consumed by My fiery passion for this bride. Stay low. Stay humble. Stay prostrate before Me. This is a strategic posture for a strategic time and a strategic blessing. Many will fall. But you will remain. Many will be slain, but your eyes and your heart remain on Me. You remain close to the ground, humble, low, seeking — even crying out. Keep your desperate heart in direct connection with the fiery flames of passion that continually erupt from my heart for America.

My deep need calls out to the deep kindness of your love. Your waterfall of weeping sent waves of sorrow over my soul, carrying me away, cascading over me like a thundering cataract. All through the day Yahweh has commanded his endless love to pour over me. Through the night I sing his songs and my praises to the living God.

Psalms‬ ‭42‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I adjure you in this time, stay low. Do not get out in front of Me. Do not move from your position. I will exalt you and move you in due time. But the position I need you in now is in this position of intercession, of deep, unquenchable, unsatisfiable desire for Me, for My move. This is a period to stay low. You will feel the release in your spirit when it is time to move from this position. But for now, remain facedown before Me. Travail before Me for your nation, your family, your community, your future.

So I say to my soul, “Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be disturbed. For I know my God will break through for me.” Then I’ll have plenty of reasons to praise him all over again. Yes, he is my saving grace!

Psalms‬ ‭42‬:‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is a final push. Partner with Me. Remain absolutely unmoved in your connection to Me. Expend yourself to the last drop in your unceasing, unquenchable need for Me. I will move. I’m giving many a burden to pray, to travail, to intercede and to stand in the gap for the nation at this time. Do not neglect that call. Do not push it aside. The burden is for now.

How to Respond

  • Heed the call of the Lord to get low, remain low and pray and travail for the nation.
  • Pray, Lord our deep need cries out to You. Only You can save America. Only You can bring the full measure of exposure with Your perfect measure of justice and mercy. Only You can restore us from the shocking and horrifying levels of sin, degeneracy, wickedness and pure evil. We need You Lord, and we won’t be moved from this post until Your Spirit releases us.
  • Declare, Return to us again, O God! How much longer will it take until you show us your abundant compassion? Let the sunrise of your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only you can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days. We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders You are famous for. (Psalm 90:13-16 TPT)
  • Decree, I will go low. I will remain low before the Lord in desperation for His Presence, His move, His glory to interrupt the scene and to bring the victory that only He can bring. I will not move from my post until the Spirit lifts this intense burden of prayer.
