Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68
Make music for the one who strides the ancient skies. Listen to his thunderous voice of might split open the heavens. Give it up for God, for he alone has all the strength and power! Proclaim his majesty! For his glory shines down on Israel. His mighty strength soars in the clouds of glory. God, we are consumed with awe, trembling before you as your glory streams from your Holy Place. The God of power shares his mighty strength with Israel and with all his people. God, we give our highest praise to you!
Psalms 68:33-35 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of All the Earth say,
Do you feel the electric charge in the air? It’s My Spirit. I have charged the air with electricity. The energy of My Spirit is palpable. I will not hold back. I will not delay. I have set a conductive atmosphere for surges of power to strike. This is a time that will be known for power surges. My power will be manifested in unusual and unexpected ways, and it will stun many. Those who are close to the power strike may fly backwards at the striking of this surge, this charge, this conductive moment. This is a season that will be noted for My power. It will be seen in all the Earth. Near and far surges of My power will be undeniable and unexplainable other than, it was the Hand of the God who Lives and Reigns.
Display your strength, God, and we’ll be strong! For your miracles have made us who we are. Lord, do it again and parade from your temple your mighty power. By your command even kings will bring gifts to you. God, rebuke the beast-life that hides within us! Rebuke those who claim to be “strong ones,” who lurk within the congregation and abuse the people out of their love for money. God scatters the people who are spoiling for a fight.
Psalms 68:28-30 TPT
This season is not for everyone. For those who love My power, love My Presence, love My Word, it will be a glorious and awesome sight. It will ignite hearts to a new level of faith, and it will inspire new exploits, new outreach, new ministry, new advancement for My Name’s sake. Those who see it and cherish what I Am doing by the Spirit will host the glory and will have access to My incredible violently explosive power. Those who shun it, who try to explain it away will see their offices dry up, will see their influence shrivel up and die. Those who would publicly divorce themselves from obvious displays of My power are prophesying their own irrelevance in this time and in this hour, and their so-called ministries will shrivel up and die.
O God, my King, your triumphal processions keep moving onward in holiness; you’re moving onward toward the Holy Place! Leaders in front, then musicians, with young maidens in between, striking their tambourines. And they sing, “Let all God’s princely people rejoice! Let all the congregations bring their blessing to God, saying, ‘The Lord of the fountain! The Lord of the fountain of life! The Lord of the fountain of Israel!’ ” Astonishingly, it’s the favored youth leading the way: princes of praise in their royal robes and exalted princes are among them, along with princes who have wrestled with God.
Psalms 68:24-27 TPT
This is a time for those who will embrace My Spirit, who will not contain or explain Me. This is a time for those who live in awestruck wonder at My marvels and say, “yes and more Lord.” My sheep know My voice. In this time, My sheep will know My acts. They will recognize My power as it strikes the Earth. They will not be ashamed or dismayed. They will say, “I knew My God would show up. He always does. I am living in the greatest time to be alive, because My God is showing up, and I am witnessing His marvelous displays of power like have never been seen before.” This is a time for My lovers and for those whose hearts are an open door.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord for eyes to see and discern what He is doing in the world.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your Presence. Thank You for being active and setting the conductive atmosphere for Your mighty displays of power. I long to see them. I am so grateful to be alive at this time in history where You will show Yourself strong in ways no one has ever seen. Thank You for coming in power and sharing that power with those who love You. I love You and my heart is an open door for You.
- Declare, So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you eternal doors! Here he comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in. You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” He is Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, the invincible commander of heaven’s hosts! Yes, he is the King of Glory! (Psalms 24:9-10 TPT)
- Decree, I will not be ashamed of or misunderstand the day of the Lord’s power. I will recognize it when He strikes, and I will live in wonder at His glory, majesty and immeasurable power. When the power of the Lord strikes, I will rise up with greater faith than I have ever had and run to be a part of what He is doing in the Earth. I will not shrink back. Instead, I will come to more vibrant, more energetic life.
