Today’s Reading:
Psalm 34
Philippians 3

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I Am buttering your heart. Better than a salve, this is a covering that heals with abundance. I’m buttering your heart. You are about to see the extravagance of My love poured out in your life. This is a time where you will richly taste and see that I Am so good, always good, extravagantly good. My goodness and My extravagance will surround your heart as you look square in the face of fulfillment, as you hold your promises in your hand. I see the places where there has been pain, where quiet darkness and sensitivity have felt like permanent markings of your heart, places of tenderness that when touched have felt rude shock like a sore tooth, and I Am bringing not only a salve that heals, but one that covers your heart with abundance, goodness and makes your joy full.

The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one. Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face. God will be your bodyguard to protect you when trouble is near. Not one bone will be broken. Evil will cause the death of the wicked, for they hate and persecute the devoted lovers of God. Make no mistake about it: God will hold them guilty and punish them; they will pay the penalty! But the Lord has paid for the freedom of his servants, and he will freely pardon those who love him. He will declare them free and innocent when they turn to hide themselves in him.

Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭18‬-‭22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My heart has seen and felt your pain. Yet you have walked forward with Me. You have remained faithful. You have held on. You have refused to go another way. You have refused to go your own way. You have said like Joshua, “as for me and my household we will serve the Lord.” And you have said like Ruth to Naomi, “wherever you go, I will go, wherever you live I will live. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God.” I have seen the cost of your obedience, of your steadfastness, and that you counted it not as loss to follow Me. You counted it as the only way to move forward, the only path worth taking.

Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord! To truly know him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace him as Lord in all of his greatness. My passion is to be consumed with him and not cling to my own “righteousness” based in keeping the written Law. My only “righteousness” will be his, based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ—the very righteousness that comes from God. And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and become like him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death. I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own.

Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

And your eyes will see My glory. Your eyes will see and your whole being will experience an outpouring of My glory such as you have never seen or experienced. You will see things in your day that prophets and faithful ones before you have only seen in the Spirit and written songs about for days yet to come. These are those days. This is that time, and I will add more to it beside. Stay on your face. Keep your hand in My hand. Walk forward with Me whatever the cost. In the end, you will know that the cost was nothing compared to what you gained. I Am making your dream complete.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord to bring fulfillment, completion and to make your dreams come true. Stir up your expectation of good.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit I love You. Thank You that You have come to heal and to pour out abundance in the places of my life that have felt hard, that felt painful. And I confess I even felt at times that those places were forgotten by You. Thank You that Your Word endures forever. You are forever faithful, forever true. You never lie, never leave, never fail and never forget. You are the steadfast God and the Lord of Hosts. You are the Rock on which I stand, and You will never leave me ashamed or lacking. You are the God whose promises are yes and amen.
  • Declare, the mercies of the Lord are everlasting. I would have despaired unless I believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
  • Decree, I will open my heart to the healing and abundant gift giving of the Lord. I will allow Him to cover and bring restoration and fulfillment to even the most tender places of my heart. I will see the glory of the Lord and experience it in ways previous generations could see but was not yet available. I will experience the goodness and the glory of the Lord in the land of the living.
