Today’s Reading:
Ezekiel 36
Ezekiel 43

Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing toward the east; and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory. And it was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when He came to destroy the city. And the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face. And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the east. And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.

Ezekiel‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The rain is coming — the rain of My outpouring, the outpouring of My Spirit. It brings rescue and judgement. It’s the rain of favor and judgement. It’s recompense.

Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities which have become a prey and a derision to the rest of the nations which are round about, therefore thus says the Lord God, “Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey.” Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, “Thus says the Lord God, ‘Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My wrath because you have endured the insults of the nations.’ Therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults. But you, O mountains of Israel, you will put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you will be cultivated and sown. I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be rebuilt. I will multiply on you man and beast; and they will increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as you were formerly and will treat you better than at the first. Thus you will know that I am the Lord. Yes, I will cause men—My people Israel—to walk on you and possess you, so that you will become their inheritance and never again bereave them of children.’

Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭4‬-‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The land has been in a drought. This is a time of recompense. This is a time of reversals. Where the enemy was living large, where the enemy was living in abundance, where the enemy had a life of ease and where the people, My people struggled, suffered and toiled, I Am bringing a reversal. I Am bringing the turnaround, the shift. And what the enemy has stolen will be poured back out for my people seven fold. The resources of the enemy will be poured out for My people even as the enemy faces stiff judgement. This is not mere exposure. This is exposure to teach the people and to bring strong judgement and a full measure of justice.

Thus says the Lord God, “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by. They will say, ‘This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’ Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken and will do it.” ‘Thus says the Lord God, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock. Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so will the waste cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭33‬-‭38‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The rains of reversal, judgement, justice and the outpouring of My Spirit are here. They are rapidly approaching. Hold your heart steady and keep your eyes on Me. I will bring the rain, and I will pour it out suddenly and powerfully. Nothing will be the same. Nothing will remain untouched. Nothing will stay the same.

How to Respond

  • Keep your eyes and heart fixed on the Lord as you do the work He’s called you to do.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit bring the rain of Your favor and judgement. Bring the uncontrolled outpouring of Your Spirit that changes everything. Lord, we need Your rescue and Your justice. Bring the turnarounds, and bring the recompense as You have said.
  • Declare, the thief must pay back seven fold — even if it costs him all the wealth of his house.
  • Decree, I will keep my eyes and heart fixed on the Lord. I will not be shaken. I will experience the great and sudden outpouring of the rain of the Lord’s favor and judgement, the outpouring of His Spirit that brings justice and recompense. I will live in the great reversal and great turnaround. When the Lord brings this recompense, I will never be in lack again.
