For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power. However, there is a wisdom that we continually speak of when we are among the spiritually mature. It’s wisdom that didn’t originate in this present age, nor did it come from the rulers of this age who are in the process of being dethroned. Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory. This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.
1 Corinthians 2:5-10 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Challenges are arising that will cause the very elementary, foundational levels of your understanding to be broken up and dismantled. Foundational level beliefs and the most basic level of your understanding will be challenged, broken apart and tilled. Fresh air will have to come into those places. Sunlight will have to come into those places.
For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us. And we articulate these realities with the words imparted to us by the Spirit and not with the words taught by human wisdom. We join together Spirit-revealed truths with Spirit-revealed words.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 TPT
I have appointed challenges to tradition, challenges to assumptions, challenges to the basic, most foundational elements of the world as you know it to come in. It will seem as though these challenges are destroying your very foundations. But they are breaking up those foundations and bringing light and breath so that what is alive and true beneath there can bear fruit and bring new life. All that has been sustained on these false foundations is synthetic, is man-made, man-sustained and false. It’s like fake fruit in a basket display. It’s like a fake tree planted in fake soil.
God has given me unique gifts as a skilled master builder who lays a good foundation. Afterward another craftsman comes and builds on it. So builders beware! Let every builder do his work carefully, according to God’s standards. For no one is empowered to lay an alternative foundation other than the good foundation that exists, which is Jesus Christ! The quality of materials used by anyone building on this foundation will soon be made apparent, whether it has been built with gold, silver, and costly stones, or wood, hay, and straw. Their work will soon become evident, for the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by blazing fire! And the fire will test and prove the workmanship of each builder. If his work stands the test of fire, he will be rewarded. If his work is consumed by the fire, he will suffer great loss. Yet he himself will barely escape destruction, like one being rescued out of a burning house.
1 Corinthians 3:10-15 TPT
This is the way I will heal your land. I Am bringing challenges that tear up all of these false foundations that have produced false fruit; and what is real, alive and God-breathed will be found beneath it, below the surface. Don’t fear these challenges, don’t fear the tearing up of false realities and false foundations, because what is beneath the surface, what has been covered over, that which is beyond what you know and what you can see is what will make it possible and easy for you to prosper. It is what your birthright as an earth worker is meant to be. The health of the soil, the health of the land will be made possible, will be revealed by the breaking up of the false. Those challenges to the foundations start today, start now. Watch as I send forth that which challenges every false foundation. The revealing of the true, of the real, of the living and fruit producing will astound the people.
How to Respond
- Don’t hold tightly to your assumptions of the world as you know it.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are breaking up the false foundations to reveal that which is real and God-breathed. Help me to perceive Your hand at work. Help me to not cling to the world as I understand it. But instead help me to rejoice in the destruction of the false, because it will bring forth the healing of our land and the restoration of our birthright as ones You have appointed for good works that You prepared for us in advance on the Earth.
- Declare, The Lord’s thoughts are higher than my thoughts and His ways are higher than my ways. He is the all-seeing, all-knowing One, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Jesus Christ my Lord is the only true and firm foundation. Everything else is sinking sand.
- Decree, I will see the Lord bring forth many challenges to the foundational aspects of society and the world as we know it. These challenges will tear up those foundations and reveal healthy, God-breathed, fruit producing soil beneath it. The Lord will heal our land as He brings forth the destruction of every false foundation.
