Isaiah 40
Therefore, listen to the word of Yahweh, you scornful jesters—rulers of Jerusalem. For you have said, “We have made a covenant with death and a pact with the underworld, so when the overwhelming scourge sweeps over us, it will not harm us. For we have made lies our refuge and found our shelter in falsehood.” Here’s what the Lord God says: “Behold, I set in place in Zion a Foundation Stone, fully tested and proven to be faithful and secure. And written upon this precious cornerstone is this: ‘Those who trust in him will not act in haste.’

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Truth is coming to the surface. Grace to see it is here. Truth is teeming, and truth will break the surface. The naked truth will stand tall for all the world to see. It is in stark contrast to the lies, to the smoke of deception and the veils of deceit. This is the starkly naked truth, and once it rises to the surface, it will not go away. It will not be diminished, cowed or moved.
I will set justice as the true measurement and integrity as its plumb line. My hailstorm will sweep away your refuge of lies, and my floodwaters will overwhelm your hiding place.

The truth will stand permanently, nakedly, defiantly for all the world to see. And all of the lies, the coverups, the smoke and mirrors, the gaslighting and the sleights of hand will be seen for what they are — garbage littering and polluting the world, garbage destroying the landscape and the scenery, garbage that causes may to stumble, and garbage that stinks and draws the presence of many demonic entities.
The time has come for the light to be switched on. Once the truth has breached the surface and taken its immovable place, it will be time for the clean-up crews to come. It will be time to sweep all of the lies, deception and bad intel right into the garbage dump. It’s time for it to be far removed from the scene, and this will be an honest and self- sacrificing act. This will be a beautiful act of service to mankind, because this is a critical part of making clear the way of the Lord.
Your God says to you: “Comfort, comfort my people with gentle, compassionate words. Speak tenderly from the heart to revive those in Jerusalem, and proclaim that their warfare is over. Her debt of sin is paid for, and she will not be treated as guilty. Prophesy to her that she has received from the hand of Yahweh twice as many blessings as all her sins.” A thunderous voice cries out in the wilderness: “Prepare the way for Yahweh’s arrival! Make a highway straight through the desert for our God! Every valley will be raised up, every mountain brought low. The rugged terrain will become level ground and the rough places a plain. Then Yahweh’s radiant glory will be unveiled, and all humanity will experience it together. Believe it, for Yahweh has spoken his decree!”

Humble yourself, and grab your broom. I’m calling my awakened lovers to be at the ready to sweep away every lie, so the cleansing rains of refreshing can come, so the Spirit and the glory of the Lord can come. Make clear the way of the Lord.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You that You are causing truth to rise to the surface and stand boldly and immovably, undeniably for all to see. Help me to be one who clears the ground, so the people can access the truth and so Your cleansing rains, Your Spirit and Your glory can come.
- Declare, Go up on a high mountain, you joyful messengers of Zion, and lift up your voices with power. You who proclaim joyous news to Jerusalem, shout it out and don’t be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!” Look! Here comes Lord Yahweh as a victorious warrior; he triumphs with his awesome power. Watch as he brings with him his reward and the spoils of victory to give to his people.
– Isaiah 40:9-10 TPT - Decree, The truth is rising in an undeniable way, and the truth will cause the light to come onto the scene and the people to see the land filled with garbage — lies, half-truths, gaslighting, bad intel, deception and more that has been causing them to stumble. The lovers of God, myself included, will rise in humility and service to sweep away the lies and to clear the way for the people to access truth and to clear the way of the Lord.
