Today’s Reading:
Ephesians 1
Psalm 119
Romans 8

For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace —for the same love he has for the Beloved, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.

Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God of abundance and adventure say,
As you walk along My way, the path I have laid out before you — that narrow but well lit path — you will see that I add My grace to it. You can perceive the road ahead, but you can’t make out more than the contours of it. You can see that I have lit enough of the path, so you can take the next step in front of you confidently. This will be true all along the way. My light will guide you, step by step.

Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your Word makes my pathway clear.

Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My grace is in the forward momentum. My grace is in the movement, and it’s in the rest. My grace is found in the impulses of the Spirit. It’s in the place where you are now and the next step you will take. My grace will meet you there, and I will add more grace to it. You will be amazed and astonished as you see that My grace has smoothed the path in front of you and then the next portion of grace is poured out on top of you as you walk forward. This is the grace that comes with agreement. This is the grace that moves with My Spirit. This is the grace that is attracted to a humble and contrite heart, to a willing spirit, a willing vessel and a lover of Mine walking in My ways.

The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.

Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is the year of My double grace — grace to move and grace for moving, grace to rest and grace for resting. This is the way, the rhythm of My grace. It’s not a straight line, but you will know it as you get into the rhythm of grace and sync up with the impulses of My Spirit. You will understand the time to move, the time to pause, the time to rest and the time to run. You will feel it. You will know it inside of you by My Spirit, and the grace to move or not move accordingly will be there. Even more grace will be poured out for you as you obey.

How to Respond

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. Lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your Presence. Thank You for speaking to me, for instructing me, for surrounding me and for making a way for me. Help me to better discern Your impulses and instructions, so I can move in the double anointing of Your grace.
  • Declare, This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.
    – Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I release my desire to determine my own way forward or to know the full scope of the path ahead. I choose now to move forward by the impulses of Holy Spirit who lives in me. I choose to obey His instruction on when to move, when to rest and where to step. I will be aligned with Holy Spirit’s impulses this year, and my year will be marked by grace to do what He instructs and even more grace as I obey.
