Today’s Reading:
Psalm 18
Psalm 35
Acts 16
Psalm 91
Ephesians 6
O Lord, fight for me! Harass the hecklers; accuse my accusers. Fight those who fight against me. Put on your armor, Lord; take up your shield and protect me. Rise up, mighty God! Grab your weapons of war and block the way of the wicked who come to fight me. Stand for me when they stand against me! Speak over my soul: “I am your strong Savior!”
Psalms 35:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God who reigns over all Creation say,
I Am your anchor in the storm. As the ship begins to rock and sway, as the seas become volatile and you become disoriented, these are your instructions: keep your eyes fixed on Me, so you do not get seasick in the storm; and trust that the anchor will hold.
Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship. Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. All at once every prison door flung open and the chains of all the prisoners came loose.
Acts 16:25-26 TPT
Be like Paul and Silas were in prison. Sing songs of worship and praise as you ride out this bumpy and disorienting, this very volatile time. Pray without ceasing, lifting up thanksgiving and reminding one another of your testimonies of My goodness, of my miracle working power in your life, in your nation, in your heart. This is not a time for panic. This is a time when My people are to be the most settled, the most steady, the most sure among all.
Could there be any other god like Yahweh? For there is not a more secure foundation than you. God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you. You’ve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You empower me for victory with your wraparound presence. Your power within makes me strong to subdue. By stooping down in gentleness, you made me great! You’ve set me free, and now I’m standing complete, ready to fight some more! I caught up with my enemies and conquered them and didn’t turn back until the war was won!
Psalms 18:31-37 TPT
Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. Charge the atmosphere with worship and praise to scatter and confuse the works of the enemy. Pray without ceasing, and use your testimonies to bring destruction and exposure to the current plans of hell. Your testimonies will overcome the works of the enemy. War with them. Steel the hearts of the body of Christ with faith from these powerful, undeniable testimonies of My faithfulness and My coming in power. Speak boldly from the Word of God and release it as sharp arrows into the camp of the enemy. This is war. This is war. This is war.
How to Respond
- Charge the atmosphere around you with praise and worship.
- Refuse fear and anxiety.
- Put on the full armor of God. (Ephesians 6)
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You have prepared me and this nation for such a time as this. Help me to remain sober and vigilant, available to You as a warrior of prayer, intercession and worship who destroys the plans of the enemy by the words of my testimony of Jesus and who strikes devastating blows straight into the camp of the enemy with the declared Word of the Lord. Thank You Lord that my anchor in You will hold. Thank You that the battle belongs to You. I will man my station.
- Declare, You have kept me from being conquered by my enemy; you broke open the way to bring me to freedom, into a beautiful, broad place. – Psalm 31:8
- Decree, This is the day of the enemy’s defeat. I will rise up in worship and charge the atmosphere with my praise. I will pray without ceasing. I will strengthen myself in the Lord. I will decree the Word of the Lord and devastate the camp of the enemy. I will speak powerful testimonies of the victory and miraculous wonders of the Lord, and I will see the enemy’s plans exposed and destroyed. The battle belongs to the Lord. And my anchor in Him will hold.
