Teach me more about you, how you work and how you move, so that I can walk onward in your truth until everything within me brings honor to your name. With all my heart and passion I will thank you, my God! I will give glory to your name, always and forever! You love me so much, and you have placed your greatness upon me. You rescued me from the deepest place of darkness, and you have delivered me from a certain death.
Psalms 86:11-13 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all Creation say,
I’m worthy. I’m worthy of your attention, of your honor and praise. You are worthy. I placed that worth inside of you. I Am the one who makes you worthy. Receive it. Your acknowledgement and understanding of your worth is what allows you to pick up the commissioning I have given you and to go forward boldly in it. It’s not your skills. It’s not your perception of your preparation. It’s not your pedigree. It’s your understanding and acceptance, your acknowledgement of the worth, the value I have placed inside of you. That, along with My Spirit, makes you unstoppable. It causes a fierce boldness to rise up from inside of you and propel you forward into the work and the path and the destiny I have placed in front of you.
But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!
Hebrews 10:39 TPT
Don’t shrink back. Don’t retreat. We are not those who shrink back. We are those who advance, who take territory, who conquer and who occupy. You are an occupying force. You are one who holds the demonic forces at bay. Your presence occupies. Your voice creates an atmosphere that makes it impossible for demonic entry or encroachment. Your voice is a power, a weapon and a shield for the place that I have called you to occupy. The enemy tries to bait you, condemn you, mock you, create a sense of unworthiness, fear or doubt in you that lulls you into a place of silence. Your silence empowers the enemy. Stand up. Speak up. Hold the line and fortify the place of your occupation with your voice, with your worship, with your declarations of what I have said, of My promises and of your decrees that establish life on Earth as it is in Heaven.
You will pray to Him, and He will hear you; And you will pay your vows. You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways. When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence, And the humble person He will save. He will deliver one who is not innocent, And he will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.
Job 22:27-30 NASB1995
Your voice builds up and it tears down. Make sure it is directed at the correct target. Whether you realize it or not, it is building and tearing down. It is creating and destroying. Wield your voice wisely. It is a weapon. It builds strongholds of safety for you and for My little ones in your midst. Be strong and very courageous. Your voice is the weapon. It is the fortification and the penetrating force behind your occupation. Silence only empowers the enemy. When you don’t know what to say, sing. When you don’t know what to do, worship. Speak the words of My Scripture. Declare My promises, and decree what I have said is to come. When in doubt, only say what Your Father has said. Only speak the words of your Living God. The truth will flow through you. Your voice is your occupation. It is the force and the power behind your occupation.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to help you see and acknowledge the value that He has placed inside of you. You are worthy, because He made you worthy.
- Pray, Lord, help me to be one who follows Your Spirit’s leading and Your voice. I want to be bold and very courageous. I want to be one who conquers and whose voice is an occupying force in the territory we take together. Thank You for making me worthy. And thank You for the power You have put in my voice.
- Declare, Yahweh, our Sovereign God, your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name! People everywhere see your splendor. You have built a stronghold by the songs of children. Strength rises up with the chorus of infants. This kind of praise has power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you. — Psalms 8:1-2 TPT
- Decree, I will not shrink back. I will not back down. I will move forward, worthy of the commissioning the Lord has placed in my hands. I will take territory, and I will occupy. My voice will create an atmosphere where the demonic cannot tread. My voice will tear down enemy strongholds and build up fortifications that protect my life, the work the Lord has given me and those in my care.
