Today’s Reading:
Psalm 51
Malachi 3

“Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of hosts. “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness.”

Malachi‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭3 ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The refining and the purifying never end. The intensity may subside and then intensify in different times. But the refining and the purifying is always there. It’s always ongoing. It’s a continual maintenance process. Trust the process. Don’t be discouraged by the process. Don’t feel like a failure in the process. This is the expectation and the purpose of the process — to purify and refine, to expose the need for areas that require purifying and refining.

Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

This isn’t really even correction. It’s maintenance. It’s proper maintenance, so you can move forward at full capacity without hindrances. In fact, it’s a beautiful thing. Allow My Spirit to search you at all times. Be in this posture of invitation to examination by My Spirit. This will serve as the absolute best preventative maintenance, because before you get too far down the road in one mindset or in one attitude or with one perspective, I will bring refining and purifying. I will bring internal realignement, and you will be able to move forward without hindrances to your progress by attitudes or ways of operating that gum up the mechanics of this beautiful machine of your life.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.

Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Don’t shy away from the heat of My purifying fire. Don’t shy away from the sifting and abrasiveness of My refining. It is all for a purpose. This is to keep you in top running order, so you are not self-sabotaging your advancement on the road ahead. I have laid this road out before you, so continually yield, continually submit to the searching light of My Spirit, to the heat and discomfort of My refining fire the the sifting and smoothing of My purifying. It is for your good, and it is for your great advancement. Stay in a posture of submission to the Refiner’s hands. Great joy is on the other side of each refining moment. Great freedom and alacrity always reside on the other side of My purifying moments. Hold nothing back. Just yield it all to Me.
