Today’s Reading:
Psalm 90
Psalm 92
Let the sunrise of your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only you can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days. We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for. O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.
Psalms 90:14-17 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’ve poured out grace in the place of your preparation — grace into your fingers and hands. I’ve anointed your head with oil for wisdom in how to proceed and with gladness. I have anointed your hands to succeed in the work I have put before you to do. I have anointed your mind with wisdom and strategy from above. Move forward in the bold unshakeable confidence of a king. Move forward with the immovable conviction that I Am with you, and I have appointed you and anointed you for the tasks in your hands and the tasks ahead.
Your anointing has made me strong and mighty. You’ve empowered my life for triumph by pouring fresh oil over me. You’ve said that those lying in wait to pounce on me would be defeated, and now it’s happened right in front of my eyes, and I’ve heard their cries of surrender!
Psalms 92:10-11 TPT
These are days of adventure and excitement, because what once felt like drudgery — what has seemed like pushing grime and gunk covered wheels that take so much effort to turn is no longer that way. Those once grime covered wheels have been cleansed completely and slicked with oil, so forward progress with ease is the new way. Things that took so much pushing and striving and grit, things that took determination and pushing, pushing, pushing will now glide forward with great ease like a sled across packed snow. The time has shifted. The advantage has shifted. The anointing has been placed and poured out, and My grace is greasing the path ahead.
Yes! Look how you’ve made all your devoted lovers to flourish like palm trees, each one growing in victory, standing with strength! You’ve transplanted them into your heavenly courtyard, where they are thriving before you, for in your presence they will still overflow and be anointed. Even in their old age they will stay fresh, bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully. Listen to them! With pleasure they still proclaim: “You’re so good! You’re my beautiful strength! You’ve never made a mistake with me.”
Psalms 92:12-15 TPT
The days of striving and grinding it out with only a few kernels to show for it are behind you. I have clicked the time forward into a new day. I have poured out My anointing and My great grace for ease, advancement and quick forward motion. Striving has ceased. These are the days where your work is covered by My anointing and grace and the word is proceed, proceed, proceed. There’s nothing left holding you back, proceed. In full joy and my abundant grace, proceed.
How to Respond
- Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for seeing me and for being with me. Thank You for clearing the difficulties and the stuckness. Thank You for lifting the strain. Help me to move seamlessly into this new way of operating in Your anointing by following the path laid out by Your great grace. I’m amazed by You Lord, and I look forward with great anticipation and expectation.
- Declare, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it!
- Decree, I receive the anointing the Lord has place on my hands and my head. I agree with the Lord and align with His new time. I will move forward boldly into the work He has for me, and I will see that the opposing forces and obstacles have been removed by His grace. I will see great advancement, and I will operate with ease and wisdom in the days ahead. I will see great fruitfulness in my labor, and the days of striving hard and producing very little are over.
