When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.
1 Corinthians 13:11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Childish ways must end. Days of childish behavior and childish approaches must come to a close. Childlike wonder must stay. Childlike belief and faith must rise and build and grow. But childish ways of operating and thinking must cease. This is the time where you must rise and operate with a warrior’s mentality, with a decisive leader’s mentality, with a disciplined businessman and builder’s mentality.
Fight fire with fire, because this is war. Don’t take it lightly, and don’t carry on as a child. Man up. This is man up season. And all who are called into battle must wage war as men, as warriors, as fighters, not as children. The spiritual battle for souls is waging, and it will take spiritual warriors to win. Children hide under the covers. Children distract themselves to soothe away the disturbances and pretend the disturbance and the arrows never came. But they did. This is war. Be in place as a warrior. Rise up as a warrior, and behave decisively, unforgivingly like a warrior. Punish the enemy with your weapons of war. They are not carnal but they are mighty for the taking down of strongholds.
The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!
Philippians 2:10-11 TPT
The battle is intensifying as the enemy in many ways realizes they’ve been surrounded. This is not a time to wait for the enemy to make the first strike. You must ambush them with your songs of warfare worship, with your limitless testimonies of My goodness, My faithfulness and by constantly reminding the enemy to live in fear of the sound of My Name. My Name is the key. The Name of King Jesus is the magnificent key that always brings the enemy to his knees. Speak the Name of Jesus liberally, continually. Pierce the ears of Satan with His beautiful Name, King Jesus, Lord of all — The Name at which every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus the Christ is Lord.
Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
Ephesians 6:10-13 TPT
His Name is the key, your mouth is the weapon. Wield it continually and relentlessly, and do it in great joy, full of confidence; because your Savior is near, and He is here. And His angelic host will topple those strongholds as you contend in the battle with your warfare worship, testimonies, praise, thanksgiving and above all, the sound of His Name. The beautiful sound of King Jesus’s Name will bring a decisive end of the reign and terror of the enemy.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to leave behind any ways of thinking and operating that are not suitable for this spiritual war. Give me the wisdom to recognize and utilize the weapons of warfare that You have given me — worship, declarations of Your Word, faith decrees, testimonies and above all, the Name of King Jesus.
- Declare, You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. —1 John 5:4-5 TPT
- Decree, I will be on the battlefield where the Lord has called me to be. I will have my face set like flint and will not be moved from my post. My voice will not be silenced. I will rise up in faith as a warrior lover of the Lord and declare the dominion and overcoming victory of King Jesus. As I do, the Lord will fight for me and bring me victory on every side.
