Now is the time for us to progress beyond the basic message of Christ and advance into perfection. The foundation has already been laid for us to build upon: turning away from our dead works to embrace faith in God, teaching about different baptisms, impartation by the laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. So with God’s enablement we will move on to deeper truths.
Hebrews 6:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
My grace is here for a higher calling. I Am drawing you up higher — beckoning and inviting you to come up higher. Grace for elevation is here. Grace to see profound realities of the hidden things is here. Great revelatory insight and deeper, keener understanding are being made available. It comes at a price. You must come up higher and leave behind your lower ways of thinking, your lower ways of speaking, your lower ways of organizing, your lower ways of seeing.
But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:4-7 TPT
Up here where the atmosphere is very clear and very pure, you will gain completely new ways — this kind of insight is not available below. This kind of discernment and prophetic understanding is not available or accessible from that lower place where you currently stand. In order to come up higher you must leave all familiar thought patterns, mindsets, ways of operating and understanding behind. You must come up here empty handed with a heart of expectation, worship and thanksgiving. This is a place where expectancy is met with revelation, where thanksgiving is met with fresh blessing and promises fulfilled, where worship draws you closer and deeper into intimacy with Me than you have experienced before.
When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways. For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.
1 Corinthians 13:11-12 TPT
Now is the time to come up higher and move on to deeper truths, deeper revelation, greater connection and synchronicity with Me. This is a place where becoming one with Me takes on a different meaning, where being My hands and feet takes on a more significant meaning, where speaking My words and executing My acts by doing the things you seeMme doing takes on a much clearer, much more direct and even practical feeling meaning. Leave what you’re holding in your hands — how you know to do relationship with Me, how you believe you must relate to Me, notions and learned behavior and thought patterns with relation to being in connection with and in service to Me. Leave them. Drop them from your hands, hearts and minds. Release them fully, and take My hand. Receive My outstretched arm of invitation to come up higher.
I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14 TPT
We will do new things here. Here you will have greater impact, greater confidence, greater security in Me, and a greater revelation and personification of the authority and power I have already given you. This is the place of elevation, insight, discernment, revelation, power, authority and increase. To get here you must leave everything you know behind.
Take My hand and come up higher. This is the way forward. It’s up higher in perspective and much lower in humility. It requires great humility to leave behind all these learned behaviors and belief systems and seek Me as a little child — full of wonder, expectation and with no preconceived notions.
How to Respond
- Release to the Lord all of your thought patterns, mindsets and ways of connecting to and relating to Him. Respond to His invitation to come up higher.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your invitation to come up higher. Thank You for providing a place of greater revelation, insight and discernment where I can gain a better understanding of the power and authority You have already given me. Help me to release everything that cannot come with me up higher, so I can access this place with the heart and eyes of a child.
- Declare, Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord! To truly know him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace him as Lord in all of his greatness. —Philippians 3:7-8 TPT
- Decree, This is the time of the Lord’s invitation to come up higher and ascend to a greater elevation — where greater understanding, discernment, prophetic insight, wisdom, power and authority are all available, and the purity of the atmosphere enables us to gain better perception of the realities on Earth and in the Heavenly realm along with a greater understanding of the power and authority the Lord has already given us. I choose to loose from my grip and leave behind all thought patterns, mindsets, beliefs and notions. I respond affirmatively to the Lord’s invitation to come up higher, empty-handed, with great humility and with my heart and eyes full of expectation and adoration like a child.
