Psalm 42
Joel 2
”I long to drink of you, O God, to drink deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! My soul thirsts, pants, and longs for the living God. I want to come and see the face of God.“
Psalms 42:1-2 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
Treasure Me first. Treasure Me above all. Let your heart be filled with Me as Your treasure and your reward. I Am where your help comes from. Deep cries to deep, and your soul cries out for the living water. I Am the treasure that you keep, and I Am the treasure that you seek. Like the man who found treasure in a field and sold everything he had to buy the field, so pursue Me, so treasure Me, so value and prize Me. I Am your treasure and your reward. I Am the treasure that you seek. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness and all of these lesser things will be added unto you.
”My deep need calls out to the deep kindness of your love. Your waterfall of weeping sent waves of sorrow over my soul, carrying me away, cascading over me like a thundering cataract. All through the day Yahweh has commanded his endless love to pour over me. Through the night I sing his songs and my praises to the living God.“
Psalms 42:7-8 TPT
I Am your reward, and My reward is with Me. To those to whom much is given, much more will be added to it. This is a time of multiplication for those who have stewarded My Word well, to those who have stewarded my call on their lives well, to those who have stewarded their assignments well. Watch for the multiplication anointing. You are entering a season where everything you touch multiplies. These resources that you gain will multiply. My Presence will manifest in your midst, in your meetings, in your work and in your times of prayer. And I will cause resources to multiply. I will cause support to swell, to grow and to multiply. This is an anointed season of multiplication for those who remain faithful, to those who heed My call, to those whose hands remain on the plow. This is not a season of just getting by. This is a season of abundant resource, of more than enough, of recouping what was lost and being well-equipped and well-resourced for the next phase of the battle, the next leg of the journey.
”So rejoice, O sons of Zion, And be glad in the Lord your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before. The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil. “Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will never be put to shame. Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the Lord your God, And there is no other; And My people will never be put to shame.“
Joel 2:23-27 NASB1995
Keep your ear to My chest. Keep your hands steady at the plow, and keep your mouth disciplined to speak light, life, prosperity, abundance and success. Your words create and destroy. Your words change and charge the atmosphere. Take heed, and be one with a disciplined mouth whose words create and draw the resources required and then some. I will restore all that the locusts have eaten, and I will bring a bumper crop besides. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Lo, I Am with you always, even to the end of the age.
How to Respond
- Remain faithful to the Lord and continue steadily in the work He has given you to do. Speak life over your circumstances, and call that which is not into existence.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. As I draw near to You, draw near to me. I long to be in Your Presence, to feel Your nearness, to hear Your voice. Help me to be entwined as one with You. Strengthen and refresh me to stay steady at the work You have called me to do. Thank You that You are sending divine resources for the assignments You have given me. Thank You that You are restoring all that the enemy has stolen and adding more to it. Thank You for reminding me of the authority You have given me. Help me to speak life, multiplication and abundance where it is needed.
- Declare, Lord, You are my treasure and my reward. You are where my help comes from. You are a tower of refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. You are the super-abundant God, the God of always more than enough. I can always count on You.
- Decree, I will be faithful and dogged in my pursuit of the Lord. I treasure and prize Him above all else. Nothing else comes even close to the glory and the beauty, the love of the Lord my God. He is more than faithful and He has made this a season of multiplication. Where I have lived in lack and just scraped by, I will now see a great multiplication of resources and favor. I will have all I need and more as we enter this next phase of battle. My words will draw great abundance and favor to me.
