If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,” Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.
Psalms 139:7-12 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Sovereign Living God of all Creation say,
My resurrection power will be seen again. The strength of My unlimited nature will be seen again. It will seem like a gaping hole. It will seem like there is a chasm, a void and a darkness. But remember in the beginning, I hovered over the void. Just so, I will hover over this void. I will hover over the chasm, the space between times and the darkness.
He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun. Quiet your heart in his presence and wait patiently for Yahweh. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked, in their prosperity, are better off than you. Stay away from anger and revenge. Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies. For one day the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will inherit the land.
Psalms 37:6-9 TPT
Though it will seem like a great darkness, those with eyes to see, those whose hearts are connected to Mine will see the light shining from the bottom of the chasm. And they will know that victory is on its way. They will know that resurrection power is on the way. They will perceive that a great rumbling, a great earth-shaking unearthing in power is on its way.
I will unearth something massive that has been buried. It will come in the time of that great chasm. Families will draw nearer to each other and draw nearer to Me in this brief period of darkness that seems to stretch on for an eternity. It only seems long, because you don’t know the end point. It will be a brief stint, a brief period of darkness.
I know you are about to arise and show your tender love to Zion. Now is the time, Lord, for your compassion and mercy to be poured out— the appointed time has come for your prophetic promises to be fulfilled! For your servants weep in sympathy over Zion’s ruins and feel love for her every stone. When you arise to intervene, all the nations and kings will be stunned and will fear your awesome name, trembling before your glory! Yes, you will reveal yourself to Zion and appear in the brightness of your glory to restore her and give her children.
Psalms 102:13-16 TPT
All along during this period of darkness, during this chasm between times a scepter to rule will be rising from the dead. It will be rising in strength, and no man’s hand, no force of hell can stop it. In fact those who would seek to stop it will not even perceive its rising. Once the scepter has fully emerged, the king will grasp it in his right hand and he will grasp the Word of God with his left, and the angels will sing and the people will cry and shout, “our God has done it!! He has won even this impossible victory. It was a resurrection. We saw a miraculous resurrection never seen before with our very own eyes. Our God reigns!!” And the people will fall on their faces in gladness and worship the Lord who rescued them from sure utter devastation. You will see and taste and relish in the great victory. One of the greatest victories ever known will rise up from sure defeat. Do not fear.
How to Respond
- Stay close the Lord, and ask for greater discernment and wisdom. Do not fear.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that Your miraculous resurrection power is alive and well. Thank You that You have a plan to bring great victory that is wrestled back from the jaws of defeat. And that victory will bring decisive justice to the land. Help me to draw nearer and nearer to You, so I can perceive what You are doing even in the midst of darkness.
- Declare, His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail. Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own. — Psalm 33:11-12
- Decree, though darkness and a great chasm may come, I will not despair. I will draw close to the Lord, and I will look from His perspective and understand that His hand is at work. I will know He is not finished yet. The Lord will unearth earth-shaking revelations in the midst of great darkness. And He will resurrect a victory that will reign in His Name by His Word. Justice will have dominion in the land.
