Today’s Reading:
Joshua 3
Psalm 27
Psalm 70
After three days, the leaders of the people went throughout the camp giving orders to the people, “Watch for the priests of the tribe of Levi to lift the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God. When it starts moving, follow it so you’ll know which way to go, since you’ve never marched this way before. Follow about a half mile behind the ark; don’t go near it.” Joshua instructed the people, “Get yourselves ready! Set yourselves apart for Yahweh! Tomorrow, Yahweh will perform for us great miracles!” Joshua told the priests, “Raise up the ark of the covenant and step out ahead of the people.” So they lifted the ark onto their shoulders and marched in front of the people. Yahweh said to Joshua, “This very day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel so that they will realize that I am with you in the same way I was with Moses. You are to command the priests who carry the ark of the covenant with these words: ‘Carry the ark to the edge of the Jordan and wade into the water.’ ” Joshua told the Israelites, “Come closer and listen to the words of Yahweh your God. This is how you will know for sure that the Living God is among you. As you advance into the land, he will drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites. Look! The ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go before you and prepare a way for you through the Jordan.
Joshua 3:2-11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
It’s the time for consecration and victory. It’s the time to rise and shine, and be who I made you to be. It’s time to lead the throng in worship. It’s time to lead the procession to the House of the Lord. I made you to be a worshipper with the heart of David. I made you to rally the faithful and lead them to My heart, to the very Throne of God. This is a time to be in unrestrained celebration of Christ your King. Holy is the Word of the Lord. Holy is the Name of the Lord God Most High.
Here’s the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to contemplate in his temple. In the day of trouble, he will treasure me in his shelter, under the cover of his tent. He will lift me high upon a rock, out of reach from all my enemies who surround me. Triumphant now, I’ll bring him my offerings of praise, singing and shouting with ecstatic joy! Yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh!
Psalms 27:4-6 TPT
Trust in Me. Rest in Me. Make Me your dwelling place. Retreat into Me, and war from the place of victory in Me. I Am your hiding place. I Am your shield. I Am your strong tower of refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Why should you fear the storm? Why should you fear the shaking? I’ve given you the heart of a storm chaser. I’ve given you the warrior spirit of a lion. I’ve given you the heart of an enraptured lover whose continual desire is to be in My Presence and minister to Me through worship and unspoken communion — just basking in the light of My glory.
Linger in My Presence. Let the light of My glory shine on your face. Let My Presence and My promise lift your countenance. You are the carrier of joy before the people. You are the one to rally the faithful — for worship, for consecration and for earnest expectation of a visitation of My glory.
[…] let all who passionately seek you erupt with excitement and joy over what you’ve done! Let all your devoted lovers, who continually rejoice in the Savior, say aloud, “How great and glorious is our God!”
Psalms 70:4 TPT
Consecrate yourself. Purify yourself. And lead My faithful ones into My Throne Room. Lead them deep into the place of worship and consecration, into communion that overwhelms and shuts out all distractions, all noises, all competing voices. Draw them into the light of My glory. Draw them to the inner chambers of My heart. Who could be concerned about a storm here? Who could be worried about the shaking here? I will be your light by day and your fire by night. Whom or what shall you fear? These are the days of Throne Room worship that shuts out all the noise. These are days of consecration to the Lord Your God and King. These are days of unprecedented victory obtained right from the very heart of God.
How to Respond
- Consecrate yourself before the Lord. Let Him search your heart and motives.
- Pray, Lord thank You for loving me and seeing me. I want to live purely before You in a continual attitude of worship. I want to be someone who is a wellspring of joy and thanksgiving — whose presence causes people to rejoice and worship You, to be drawn deeper into Your Presence.
- Declare, God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way— the path that brings me back to you. — Psalms 139:23-24 TPT
- Decree, I will be known as a lover of the Lord. Through my words and actions, I will be one who attracts people to the heart of the Lord, who leads them to deeper consecration and communion. I will not fear the shaking or the storm. I will be hidden in the Lord. I will do all of my warring from the place of victory in Him. And I will experience unprecedented victory from the hand of the Lord in every aspect of my life.
