Today’s Reading:
Psalm 34
Isaiah 41

3 O magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
4
I sought the Lord, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.
8
O taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 O fear the Lord, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.

Psalm 34:3-9

The Spirit of the Lord says,
New life is springing forth. New joy, new energy, new hope, new vision is springing forth. It is blooming, and it is setting off a powerful fragrance of new energetic hope, of promise. Take time to smell the roses, to smell the flowers. Take time to take note of My small blessings, My small miracles, My small gifts to you. They will impart a powerful revelation, and their scent will empower you to know and to do the next step which seems obscured.

I have hidden your next step in simple small treasures. Don’t overlook them. Don’t walk past these tiny miracles without acknowledging their beauty or brilliance. In them are the keys to that very first step, that very next step you have been seeking. It has seem covered over, impossible to see. Yet it is here, hiding in plain sight, nestled within the small miracles that the tired soul and weary mind might see as mundane.

Nothing I do is mundane. You just need the eyes and wonder and curiosity of a child to not take My works for granted. Your very existence is a miracle. I Am the miracle worker, miracle maker, and every word that proceeds from My mouth creates a miracle in mid-flight.

18 “I will open rivers on the bare heights
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water
And the dry land fountains of water.
19 “I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree;
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,
20 That they may see and recognize,
And consider and gain insight as well,
That the hand of the Lord has done this,
And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

Take time. Take notice. Allow your heart and mind to be astonished at My goodness, at My brilliance, at My countless miraculous creations all around you. Ask for eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to perceive and receive My miracles. Don’t hold yourself so tightly. Let go of that stern face. Allow the wonder and the glory of My creation and many, many countless miracles wash over you and build your faith for more. Allow your heart to soften and your eyes to seek out the traces of My miracles. Allow your face to reflect the astonishment of your soul at the recognition of My majesty and never ending miraculous creations.

Look a little closer. Slow your step, and bend down. Lean in to experience the tiny little miracles and the big ones that I have caused to surround you. You are not alone. You have not been hung out to dry. I have positioned you for blessing. I have overshadowed you with My goodness. I have protected you with My righteous right hand, and I Am surrounding you with miracles. Take a deep breath. Step back. Ask for eyes to see and ears to hear all that I have done for you, all that I Am doing in you, and all with which I am surrounding you. You are in Goshen. You are in the land of protected blessing, favor and miracles, and more are yet to come.

10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Isaiah 41:10

I know you feel the squeezing of this time. I know all that you have tasted seems so bitter, but I Am making something very sweet from this time. I Am preparing for you a drink of refreshing and delight, a drink that brings you back to childlike wonder and carefree, wide-open blue sky living. Come. Sit. Drink in My goodness. You will taste and see that I Am absolutely good. My mercies endure forever.

How to Respond

  • Repent for for operating in fear rather than faith, for a bad attitude, for allowing the circumstance to overwhelm the reality of God’s bigness in your eyes.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. I need Your help desperately. I’m so sorry for letting my circumstances and problems get bigger than You in my eyes. Lord, I desire to magnify You. I desire to see with childlike wonder and to experience Your goodness and miracles with the soft and easily astonished heart of a child. Lord, I want to see and recognize your miracles and Your brilliance everywhere I turn. I want to trust You with my circumstances, decisions and next steps. Help me. Help me.
  • Declare, the Lord is turning small miracles into keys of empowerment and direction that many have been waiting to see. The Lord is offering an invitation for me to change my perspective to see all that He has done, is doing and is planning as the miracles and majestic wonders that they are.
  • Decree, I will walk by faith and not by sight. I will enjoy the refreshing of the Lord. I will taste and see that the Lord is good. I will position myself to see and recognize the countless miracles that the Lord has done and is surrounding me with now. I will adjust my perspective with the help of the Lord to one of ready wonder and astonishment at His brilliance, protection, provision and grace.
