“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God from whom all blessings flow say,
This is the time when darkness turns to light. Victory is overwhelming defeat. Your position has been one of defeat, but you will rise in victory and overwhelm defeat on every front. As you rise, your light will dispel the darkness. My Presence is coming as the great light, and your light is like Mine and of Mine. This is the time of the darkness being overcome by light. Rise up, and as you do defeat will be overturned. Rise up, and as you do, darkness will flee.
And this Light never fails to shine through darkness— Light that darkness could not overcome!
John 1:5 TPT
As you rise up as the light I have imparted to you, the tables of darkness will be overturned. Results and diagnoses that were final and terminal will be overturned. As the light comes in, it dispels the darkness. It flushes out the darkness, and life comes in its place. Hope comes in and breathes fresh life into this place. New realities can be seen as the light rises, shines and dispels the darkness. Cause the darkness to flee. It has no place where My children of light have dominion.
Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.
Isaiah 60:1-3 TPT
As you rise up, as you assume dominion, as you take territorial authority, as you rise up as sons and daughters, as heirs, as kings and as priests to the Lord your God, darkness will no longer be seen. Darkness will no longer be the reality. Darkness will vanish completely. And the bright light of the sons and daughters of God will light the ancient way, will light the ancient paths; and they will direct men onto those paths that lead to the new day and the new way. This is a time of great transformation. This is a time where darkness turns to light. Darkness gives way to light only as the light rises and shines and assumes its role of dominion and territorial authority in this rightful place.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, where do You want me to be? Help me to planted where You want me to be planted doing the work you want me to do. Help me to shine brightly here and draw men and women, boys and girls to You. Help me to shine so brightly that the darkness is dispelled and the truth and the astonishingly different new way can be seen by the light that You have given me.
- Declare, don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven. — Matthew 5:16
- Decree, this is the time when light overwhelms the darkness. This is the time that the children of God rise up and shine, revealing the Source of their light and revealing the way to Him and to the new day He has made for all of mankind. As we rise and shine in obedience to the Lord, as we assume dominion and territorial authority for the place the Lord has planted us, the darkness will no longer rule that place.
