To the humble you bring heaven’s deliverance, but the proud and haughty you disregard. God, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness, and in your brightness I can see the path ahead. With you as my strength I can crush an enemy horde, advancing through every stronghold that stands in front of me. Yahweh, what a perfect God you are! All Yahweh’s promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you, the wraparound God.
Psalms 18:27-30 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
A loud, clear, distinct, unmarred sound comes from you. You resound like a bell and a horn who has been finely tuned by the Master. And your words, your sound go out and pierce the darkness. They flood the scene, the situation, the world with light.
Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you. You’ve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You empower me for victory with your wraparound presence. Your power within makes me strong to subdue. By stooping down in gentleness, you made me great! You’ve set me free, and now I’m standing complete, ready to fight some more!

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.This IS war. And your sound is like a a true arrow, going straight to the heart of the matter. The upgrade is here. It has happened. The promotion is here. It has happened. You have come through the fiery furnace, and now you are a refined, true and blazing warrior who has a become one with the All Consuming Fire that is the Lord of Hosts, the God of Angel Armies, the one who fights for you, the one who leads you out into battle and has trained you hands, your feet and your mouth for war. This is the battle for the high places. I have brought you through the fire and have taught you, equipped you to ascend to the high places and to demolish every stronghold.
Sinners in Zion are afraid, and the godless are gripped with panic, saying, ‘Who can dwell with such an all-consuming fire? Who can live in the presence of the never-ending flame?’ Only those who walk with integrity and speak what is true, who despise even the thought of cheating the poor, and do not accept a bribe, nor plot violence, nor contemplate doing evil — they will live safely on the heights and make their safe place the mountain strongholds, with bread in steady supply and water assured.
Isaiah 33:14-16 TPT
Lies and manipulation MUST fall from the high places. Facades, masks and falsified images MUST fall from these high places. This is the place where the truth must resound, and the truth pierces through and causes these strongholds to topple. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal. They are mighty for the taking down of strongholds.
You’ve set me free, and now I’m standing complete, ready to fight some more! I caught up with my enemies and conquered them and didn’t turn back until the war was won! I smashed them to pieces and I finished them once and for all; they’re as good as dead. You’ve placed your armor upon me and made my enemies bow low at my feet. You’ve made them all turn tail and run, for through you I’ve destroyed them all! They shouted for help, but no one dared to rescue them. They cried out to Yahweh, but he refused to answer them. So I pulverized them to powder and cast them to the wind. I swept them away like dirt on the floor.
Psalms 18:36-42 TPT
I have equipped you for the battle, and I have set you as one whose assignment is to demolish the strongholds of wickedness, terroristic spirits, rebellion against God and demonic railing against My warriors. We must advance. You must advance to the high places. You are already standing there. Understand your assignment. Understand your authority. Understand your weapons, and use your words to war, to topple and to win.
How to Respond
- Remember and be sober minded regarding the seriousness and reality of the spiritual war surrounding us.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for empowering me, for forging me in and bringing me through the fire of Your refining. Let my fire for You burn continually and ferociously. Thank You for a fresh impartation of strength, wisdom and understanding to advance in the high places and to topple demonic strongholds.
- Declare, If you choose to follow good counsel, divine design will watch over you and understanding will protect you from making poor choices. It will rescue you from evil in disguise and from those who speak duplicities. For they have left the paths of righteousness and walk in the ways of darkness. They take pleasure when evil prospers and thoroughly enjoy a lifestyle of sin. But they’re walking on a path to nowhere, wandering away into deeper deception. —Proverbs 2:11-15 TPT
- Decree, The ever-victorious Lord of all is my Battle Commander. He will never lead me astray, and He will never lead me into battles that He has not already won. I will harken to the voice of the Lord to do it. I will daily put on the full armor of God. The shield of faith that the Lord has provided me will extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. He has equipped me and trained me for this war, and as I listen and obey His voice, I will see and experience EVERY victory. My God is an all-consuming fire, and my enemies cannot withstand His flame.
