Today’s Readings:
Psalm 15-17
Isaiah 51

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
and who seek the Lord:
Look to the rock from which you were cut
and to the quarry from which you were hewn;

Isaiah 51:1

The Lord says,
Test your heart. Test where your heart is now. Is it out of alignment with Me? Is it out of sync with Mine? Don’t linger in that state. Come to Me for a readjustment. Bring your heart and ask for an adjustment and realignment. Worship is key. Worship and draw near. Ask for realignment.

1 Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?
2
The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;

Psalm 15:1-2

You will feel the release of freedom in your life as you worship, and as worship leads you back to the foot of the Cross for adjustments. Hold on to the adjustments that are made. Don’t let things slip so easily back into the former misaligned state. Hold fast to this reestablished alignment and fight for it by soaking in My Presence, by daily nourishing yourself in My Word, by filling yourself with worship and truth, by filling yourself with strength from My Presence.

11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 16:11

Encourage yourself and others in Me. Strengthen yourself in Me like David did. Don’t allow misalignment to linger. Hold fast to the restored state when you find it at the foot of the Cross. Don’t allow the bumps in the road and the jostling of life to throw you off course, get you out of joint and cause you to be misaligned. Hold fast to the fresh alignment you find in Jesus. Hold fast to it.

Allow worship to permeate your mind and heart and the atmosphere that surrounds you. Your attitude, mindset and posture of worship as a constant in your life causes you to walk through life differently. It causes you to leave a beautiful fragrance of worship wherever you go. It causes you to stay close to My heart and to be one whom My favor seeks to bless and anoint. Stay in worship and stay close to My heart. Healing, grace and favor will flow freely as a result.

7 “Hear me, you who know what is right,
you people who have taken my instruction to heart:
Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals
or be terrified by their insults.
8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment;
the worm will devour them like wool.
But my righteousness will last forever,
my salvation through all generations.”

Isaiah 51:7-8

Trust My Word. Trust that I will do what I said I will do. Hold fast to My Word – the scriptures and the prophecies that you have received. If you receive a prophet and a prophecy in the name of a prophet, you will indeed receive a prophet’s reward. Hold fast to the words you have heard and to the words you have been given. The truth will set you free.

This has been a period of great testing, and it continues to be so. Hold fast. Stay aligned. Stay in worship. And watch and see what My Hand will do.

How to Respond

  • Seek the Lord. Seek to be realigned with His heart. Give yourself to worship and go back to the foot of the Cross and ask for realignment of anything that has gotten warped or misplaced, misprioritized or shaken over time.
  • Stay close to the heart of the Lord through worship and soaking in His Presence.
  • Encourage yourself in the Lord and strengthen yourself in Him like David did, by the reading of scripture, meditation on scripture and worship. Sing new songs.
  • Trust that the Lord will do what He said He would do. Hold fast to the Lord’s promises, prophecies and truth.
  • Declare, the Lord will do what He said He would do.
