Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 42
5 Thus says God the Lord,
Isaiah 42:5-7
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it,
6 “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Trust and obey. There’s no other way. That is the way — to trust and obey. There is none like Me to guide you, to draw you, to place you and to establish you. There’s no one like Me. Choose today who you will follow, who you will serve, who you will believe. Align with truth. Why should you let your heart agree with the Father of Lies because it sounds more plausible in your ears? His every word is a lie. It’s time to reject the lies and the liar. It’s time to reject the author and voice of lies. Choose instead truth. Choose instead life. Choose instead My voice, My words, My leading. Choose the giver of life, not the one who steals and destroys it.
8 “I am the Lord, that is My name;
Isaiah 42:8-9
I will not give My glory to another,
Nor My praise to graven images.
9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Now I declare new things;
Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”
Times are speeding up. Events are moving quickly. It’s important to be in the right place at the right time, in the right assignment and with the right people. Allow Me to position you, to correct you, to speak into your life and to call you higher. These are days to be at the ready. These are days for quick obedience and ready hands and feet. These are days to be expecting new marching orders and to be ones who are ready to march in lockstep with Me. These are days of many glorious and astonishing events. So be one who is marching and anchored on solid ground. Stand on the truth, on the firm foundation, because for those who are believing and agreeing with lies, their foundation will be found to be quicksand. Their foundation will be revealed to be faulty and crumbling.
16 “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
Isaiah 42:16
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.”
I’m not asking you for complex things. My voice and command gives simple instruction, though the response may feel difficult and hard. What I require is never complicated. It’s simple. One step and then the next. This is an encouragement and a command to get your house in order. Ensure your feet are on the firm foundation. Ensure your house is built on the Rock, King Jesus. Ready your hands and feet for action. We are moving into different days where different and even strange sounding instructions will be given. Obey the Commander and King of your heart, and you will walk in abundance. You will walk in surprise and astonishment. You will marvel at the places I take you and the ways I change you. The instruction is for you, not for My benefit. It’s for you. So choose to be positioned, and choose to obey. It is for you, your future and your family. It’s for you.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord. Ask Him to show you clearly how He wants you to be positioned in this time. Be quick to get in alignment with Him.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You are for me. Thank You that Your plans and instructions for me are for my good, my benefit and my advancement. They are not to set me back or to cause me to stumble. You are not setting me up for embarrassment or failure. Your plans and Your instructions are good, and I am so thankful for that. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and to quickly obey.
- Declare, the Lord is calling His saints to be in position for change and ready for action. He is calling us to be positioned on truth, on the Solid Rock and Firm Foundation of King Jesus.
- Decree, I will be in alignment with the instruction of the Lord. I will be quick to move and obey as He calls. My feet are planted on the Rock and Firm Foundation, King Jesus, and I will not be moved from Him. I reject the lies and the liar. I stand with and in the One who is Truth, Jesus.
