Worship & Laughter Are the Best Medicine

The Lord says,
Worship and laughter are the best medicine. Rest. Relax. Take big deep belly breaths. Drop your shoulders. Unclench your teeth, soften your gaze and look up. Remember I Am above it all. I cause the road to rise up to meet you. Though nothing seems certain, though the storm and the waves are still tossing you, remain anchored in Me and look up. Internal gazing leads to stress. You are not relying on your own strength and wits and connections to get you to the other side. Look up. I Am your Father, your Creator, Your Almighty Counselor and Waymaker. Look up. Look to Me. Stop putting all of this on your shoulders. Take the load off. Look up. Remember that I Am the One who will make a way where there is no way. I will cause streams to form in the desert. I will cause opportunities to materialize out of thin air. Breathe. Relax your muscles and your mind.

Worship. Worship and laughter are the best medicine. Find a way to get those into your diet. Say no to stress, worry, anxiety, panic and fear. Worship and laughter push back against these. Allow Me to fill your heart with joy and expectation. Trust that I Am putting things in order. Trust that I Am making a way, and allow yourself to rest and relax from your concerns. I will take care of your every need and supply it by My grace.

Lie down in My Presence. Take a nap if you need one. The world will keep spinning, and I will help you get it all done. Give panic and fear and anxiety no entry. Worship instead. Choose praise and to fill yourself to the overflow with a recognition of My Presence, My goodness, and My faithfulness. Overflow with hope and love and cause them to spill over onto those around you.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. This is true. When you follow the All Knowing One, when you trust the Eternal One, when you listen to My voice and follow My instruction, you will know that there was no better way, there was no better choice. You can be confident that trusting and living in obedience was indeed the very best way forward.

Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord!
Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine.
Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends.
2–3 So, go ahead—let everyone know it!
Tell the world how he broke through
and delivered you from the power of darkness and
has gathered us together from all over the world.
He has set us free to be his very own!

Psalm 107:1-3

Prepare to Celebrate!

The Lord says,
It’s time for celebrations. Prepare to dance and rejoice. Prepare to grab friends and strangers alike to hug and rejoice and celebrate. It’s time to celebrate!

Celebrate the victory of Your King! Celebrate the sovereignty of Jesus! Celebrate the victory being won and acknowledged! Celebrate the the triumph of truth! Celebrate the overcoming and the overturning!

Wild wild celebrations will break out. Spontaneous acts of joy and ecstatic praise will break out because the veil was lifted, because the predators were put down, because those seeking to devour and corrupt were exposed. Celebration is nigh.

This is not a time for moderating your response. Celebrate with the fullness of your ability and from the depths of your being. Rejoice for I have overcome, and I have caused the most unlikely victories to break forth, to emerge and to be revealed.

Celebrate with all that is within you. It is right, and it is an appropriate response to the work done on your behalf by the Lord your God your Maker, Highest King, Eternal Ruler with dominion over the Universe. Celebrate at the order of magnitude of the victory revealed.

Go ahead and start worshiping. You need to warm up, so start now.
