15 He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am?
Matthew 16:15-18 AMPC
16 Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and [d]to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.
18 And I tell you, you are [e]Peter [Greek, Petros—a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra—a [f]huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the [g]infernal region) shall [h]not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Charge the gates of hell. Charge the gates of hell. This is an offensive season. This is a warring season. This is a hold tight to your principles and convictions and fight for what is right season. Charge the gates of hell with your worship. Charge the gates of hell with a decided shout of praise and victory. Charge with your beautiful recitation of My Word, of ultimate and final truth. Don’t back down. Don’t give an inch. The gates of hell shall not overwhelm you, and they shall not prevail against you.
“Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.”

This is a war season. This is a fight for what is right season. True kings have gone out to war. True warriors are arrayed and lining up on the battlefield. This is not a time for whishy washy warriors. NO. This is a time for battle tested, fierce, fiery-eyed warriors with steel backbones and unwavering determination. This is a war season. It’s time to charge. It’s time to advance. It’s time to say, ”no more” and push back those gates of hell until they fall right off the ends of the earth. This is a time to be continually filled with worship. This is a time to be living from the overflow of praise. This is a time where your solid foundation will expand out and become a safe harbor for those who have not built on the rock. I will expand your territory. I will give you cause to lengthen your tent pegs. Your reach and influence will expand to lengths greater than you could have imagined. What started out as a tiny plot is now stretching out in every direction. You have chosen and established a firm foundation, and now it will serve as a platform for you and a refuge and safe harbor for many.
54 [a]Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child! For the [spiritual] children of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married wife, says the Lord. 2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, 3 For you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 4 Fear not, for you shall not be ashamed; neither be confounded and depressed, for you shall not be put to shame. For you shall forget the shame of your youth, and you shall not [seriously] remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.

Lengthen your tent cords. I Am bringing expansion that may be hard to fathom and will require effort and grace to keep up with. This is a time of war, of expanding territories and of acceleration. The war will almost seem to be in fast forward mode. You will say, how did all of this happen in a single day? How did so much transform in just one week? How does the world look entirely different than it did last month? We are taking back territory from the enemy and re-claiming it as ours. We are advancing in ways and with methods the enemy cannot fathom nor comprehend. I Am giving war strategies that seem foolish until obedience proves them to be the most powerful and effective weapons ever seen by the body of Christ. Those who don’t hesitate when they hear My voice, no matter how ridiculous My instruction seems to them — these will be the ones to inherit the land that is reclaimed. These will be the ones with the greatest territory gained. These will be called the mighty men and women of faith in our age. We will be called conquerors. We will prevail. Hell doesn’t stand a chance.
How to Respond
- If you have not yet found your place on the spiritual battlefield, ask the Lord to show you where it is and what you should do.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You are with us, that You are the greatest strategist of all time, that with You, we cannot lose. Thank You for this time of taking back what the enemy has stolen, of expansion and of acceleration. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and obey no matter what it looks or sounds like.
- Declare, this is a war season where the lovers of God reclaim territory the enemy has stolen, expand their own territory and accelerate through many rapid changes.
- Decree, the gates of hell will not prevail against us. We will advance and push back the gates of hell until they fall off the ends of the Earth. I will see the Lord expand my territory and influence. I will see great advancement, acceleration and change that only the Lord can do. I will see many victories, and we will prevail.
