Today’s Reading:
Song of Songs 2
Ezekiel 37
1 John 5
The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.
Song of Songs 2:11-15 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Truth say,
I’m chasing the thieves of dreams away. Thieves have come in, have crept in and have eaten away at your dreams. They have tried to dismantle them, degrade them and cause your dreams to lose structural integrity and crumble into a heap. But these thieves, these foxes, these thoughts and mindsets, these interlopers underestimate the substance of the dreams and the craftsmanship of the Dream Giver. I Am breathing fresh hope into your camp. I Am breathing a reviving wind of life into your camp. Breathe it into your lungs, and help me to chase out these foxes who are steadily eating away at the dreams I have planted in your heart.
Then Yahweh said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Yes, prophesy, son of man. Say to the breath, ‘Lord Yahweh says: Divine breath, come now from the four winds. Breathe on these lifeless bodies, so that they can live again.’ ” So I prophesied as he had told me, and the breath entered their bodies. They came alive, got up from the ground, and stood to their feet—a very great, immense army.
Ezekiel 37:9-10 TPT
The dreams I give are made of a better substance. They are made of eternal substance, and though they may appear to be lying in a broken heap, I Am putting My words in your mouth and instructing you to speak to the dry bones of those dreams. Tell them to live. Tell them to live, live, live. Say, “rise up broken dreams. Remove yourself from the heap of ashes.”
It’s time for these dreams to assemble as the mighty army I made them to be. It’s time to be reformed, renewed and made alive again. It’s time to live, live, live. Because in life, the dreams will chase down the gates of hell and push them to the very ends of the earth, to the remotest, farthest dry places. The life in these bones is stirring, and I Am causing them to unite, to be remade and to breathe, live and run. These dreams have lungs and legs. They will live. And they will conquer many enemies. They will advance through and decisively make many exploits.
You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:4-5 TPT
The foxes have come, the enemy has come, the thieves have come to disrupt and dismantle your dreams; because they fear a world in which those dreams are alive, running, fighting and speaking. But I have made you more than a conquerer, and your broken dreams will yet live. They are meant to live. They were made to live. Speak life into them now, and cause your hopes to arise. Cause your strength to arise. Cause your great expectation for good to arise. Live in the decided, determined mindset that these dry bones are rejoining even now, and they will live. It’s time to conquer the conquerors. These dreams will live.
How to Respond
- Get your hopes up.
- Take every thought captive and make it bow in obedience to Christ Jesus.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Breathe on me. Refresh my spirit and revive my hopes. Help me to join you in chasing these thieves and destroyers of dreams from my life. Help me to get my hopes up, discipline my mind and speak life and action into these broken dreams. They will live again. They will be reassembled as a mighty conquering army, and they will chase down the gates of hell.
- Declare, Every promise of the Lord is yes and amen. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world.
- Decree, the Lord is breathing a refreshing breath of life and renewal on me and on my dreams. With that breath, He is chasing out the thieves who have come to dismantle and destroy my dreams. I am rising up in hope and great expectation of good. I am joining Him in chasing out these dream thieves. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I will see my dreams fulfilled, and with the help of the Lord I will mobilize them to conquer and destroy the works of the enemy.
