10 “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
Isaiah 54:10
But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you,
And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,”
Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
The Lord says,
My heart overflows with love for the children, for all the children. As many as the grains of sand of the beach, that’s how many My thoughts are toward you — good thoughts for your success, your prosperity in body, life and and soul. I long to be with you. I long for us to live in unending, unbroken communion and dwelling. I long for you to have a constant awareness of My Presence, even as I am always thinking about you.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
Psalm 139:17-18
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.
I long for you to come into My inner courts and seek My face, My ways, My Presence. I long for you to delight in Me and to rekindle desire for My Presence as you did at first. I long for you to have the mature love of a happily married one — a love that is tested, proven and cannot be shaken, a love that is fierce and protective and will not be treaded upon.
5 “For your husband is your Maker,
Isaiah 54:5
Whose name is the Lord of hosts;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the God of all the earth.
I desire your worship, your desire, your longings. I desire to be the focus of your days and the center of your heart. I desire to take Center Stage in your life. I desire for all else to take a supporting role as you make Me the One who is high and lifted up in your eyes, your heart, your life. Do I need it? No. I Am high and lifted up. I have stretched out the heavens and created everything on Earth, I do not need honor and exaltation in your eyes, but it is what I desire. I desire your love and adoration. I desire to have first place, highest esteem and the place of greatest honor in your heart and your life.
This is the forging, deepening and strengthening of an unbreakable bond. This is the foundational fusing of your heart with Mine. This love, this relationship that has stood and been tested, that has been forged as if by fire, is what will be the cornerstone, the pillar and the anchor for the rest of your days. Build something with Me that will stand the test of time, that will withstand the storm, the waves and the seas.
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:7-8
Don’t let anything hinder you from coming to me. No shame, no regrets, no fault or sin is too great to find forgiveness, perfect redemption and healing for your soul in Me. Jesus made a way where there was no way. Don’t let guilt or shame keep you from what He paid the highest price for. Come freely to His feet. He freely gave His life for your rescue, for your full and unblemished restoration. Don’t let anyone or any thought of your own tell you that you fall short. Be made perfect in Him. Be restored in Him, and build something beautiful with Us. Build a future, build a deep, strong, immovable anchor to Us.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Psalm 103:10-13
Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
My love is made perfect in weakness. Come. Let nothing hinder you — not shame, not regret, not embarrassment. Come. You will find your true self in Me. You will be fully restored in Me. Come.
How to Respond
- Take time out to spend with the Lord. Ask Him to highlight anything that may be hindering your connection with Him or your desire for Him.
- Stir up your affection for Him in worship and thanksgiving for the many blessings He has richly poured out into your life.
- Declare, the Lord is wonderful, mighty and the King of Kings. He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and I give Him Center Stage in my heart and my eyes and my life. I will put nothing and no one else before Him.
- Decree, the Lord is faithful and His desire is for me. As I draw near to Him, as I come into His inner courts, I am building with Him a connection and a foundation that cannot be shaken.
- Pray, Lord, help me to reprioritize anything in my life, my mind and my heart that has moved into the place that belongs to You. I desire to seek Your face, to dwell with You and to honor You as first in my life. Help me to make the changes I need to make to put You first.
