On July 21st, I heard from the Lord that a great number of records would be broken at the rescheduled 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
A sign to remind you that I Am the God of the impossible and that I Am moving for good will be the many many records broken at the Summer Olympics. The U.S. will break many records. Other countries will as well, but the U.S. will break a staggering number of world records.

Team USA did end up on top of the medals table, but it did not look like that would be the case. Interestingly, and I believe prophetically, Team USA beat out China in the last day of competition for the highest medal count – both in the number of gold medals and the overall medal count.
The battle for most gold medals came down to the final day of competition, as Team USA’s wins in women’s volleyball and women’s basketball pushed the country to the top of the chart.

Another confirmation of the word is this:
A record 94 nations won medals at the Tokyo 2020 games, including Turkmenistan, San Marino and Burkina Faso – all of which claimed their first Olympic medals ever.

The total number of World and Olympic records broken or tied at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games was 130. Sixteen of those were broken by members of Team USA. Twenty-five World Records at the games were broken, and Team USA was responsible for three of those. So Team USA tied with Georgia and Germany for World Records broken at the Summer Olympic Games and came in behind China’s five. Interestingly, in looking at the kind of records that could be broken, there are many, such as: Olympic Records, World Records, number of medals in a sporting class, number of medals by an individual, consecutive gold medals year over year in a single sport, etc. So in the context of global competition, it’s difficult to box in the meaning of “world records” and find a definitive number.
That said, I believe that all of the many kinds of records set and the USA’s topping the 2020 Tokyo Olympics podium serve as a confirmation of the July 21st word — that He is indeed the God of the impossible. The fact that USA pushed through and made it to the top of the medal count on the last day reminds us that even though it may seem like He’s late and like we are losing, He is the God who brings the eleventh hour victory. I believe there is also a significance in the women’s teams being the ones to bring the final push to victory — as the Lord is mobilizing many women like never before to be champions for Him, for the traditional family unit, for their children, and for the future of the nation. The final medal count is a reflection of the fact that it took the women’s teams, the men’s teams and the blended teams (such as men and women’s combined relays) all doing their individual very best in their own roles, in their own teams to get USA to the top of the podium at the end of the games.
I am confident that the Lord is doing and will do the same for the greater Team USA.
